URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Big Ag corporations are hiding their pollution! Picture this: tens of thousand

URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Big Ag corporations are hiding their pollution! [Take action now!]( Picture this: tens of thousands of pigs and hens crammed into windowless sheds, standing in their own waste. The manure releases hazardous gases like ammonia and hydrogen sulfide, polluting air and local waterways. In fact, a 2021 study found that toxic pollution from factory farms is responsible for more than 12,000 U.S. deaths a year. Factory farms pollute communities, abuse animals and harm public health. Despite the danger these giant agricultural operations pose, they aren’t required to report the release of hazardous air emissions from their animal waste. You can change that! [Please, Friend, protect our planet and communities from factory farms. Tell the EPA to require reporting of hazardous air emissions from animal waste!]( *2/15 Comment Deadline!* [Sign the petition]( The animal waste reporting requirement that we are asking for used to be the law of the land. But in 2019, that law was changed, permitting Big Ag companies to hide their hazardous air pollution. Five years later, the Biden Administration has yet to reinstate the requirement – that’s why we urgently need your help. You’ve heard this before, Friend. Factory farms are polluting rural communities and destroying the health and quality of life for nearby residents. Big Ag is fighting hard to keep those residents in the dark about just how much air pollution they are spewing into communities.
