[Friends of the Earth] Should trophy hunters be allowed to kill animals for fun? [YES]( [NO]( **This link has been generated specifically for {EMAIL}. Please do not share with anyone else. Deadline for responses: 11:‌59 p.m. Friend, this is disturbing. Four of Colorado’s first wild-born pups in more than 80 years were shot and killed just feet from the Colorado-Wyoming border by trophy hunters. Recent investigations that show a father and son knowingly shot three of the wolves after luring them in. They posted pictures with the dead wolves on Facebook. And then skinned them, tanned their hides and hung them in a storage room. This is horrific, and we must do everything we can RIGHT NOW to protect these vulnerable wildlife from trophy hunters ready to shoot and kill dwindling animal populations and Big Polluters looking to get rid of wolves to take over their lands. Colorado conservationists have already been working tirelessly to protect these majestic creatures and the forest territory they need to thrive. But Colorado’s wolves can be LEGALLY shot and killed as soon as they step over state lines. And in pro-hunting states near Colorado – like Wyoming, Montana and Idaho – young wolf pups are being tortured with choking snares, violent shootings and ATV chases. Please, friend, we must stop these violent killings for the sake of sport and decoration. But we urgently need to know where supporters like you stand on this issue. Before our response deadline at 11:‌59 p.m. ton‌ight, let us know: Should trophy hunters be allowed to kill animals for fun? [YES]( [NO]( **This link has been generated specifically for {EMAIL}.
