Dear Friend, An entire pack of Yellowstone gray wolves is gone forever. Protect the wildlife that remains and the planet: Donate $27 today! [Donate $27 immediately]( [Donate $50 immediately]( [Donate $100 immediately]( [Donate another amount]( I have devastating news to share. We thought gray wolves were recovering after receiving protections in Yellowstone. But a trophy hunter rampage violently wiped out 25 innocent wolves last year. That’s an entire pack! Now, less than 100 gray wolves remain in Yellowstone. And the second a wolf sets its little paws over park lines, it’s fair game for brutal hunters to massacre them. [Don’t let another wolf meet the same fate. Help protect our nation’s wildlife and the planet: donate $27 and help us reach our $4,450 goal by midnight tonight!]( Gray wolves in the Northern Rockies states bordering Yellowstone National Park are fighting for their lives. These areas have limited safeguards to keep these precious canines safe. And ruthless hunters are taking advantage of the lack of regulations. They’re viciously targeting and gunning down helpless wolves. But it’s not enough to kill them: they make these helpless creatures suffer needlessly, murdering them with inhumane hunting methods. They choke wolves to death with neck snares. They chase them down with helicopters. They even dynamite nursing wolf mamas and their helpless baby pups sleeping inside their dens. And it’s all completely legal. Meanwhile, hunters and Big Polluters are fighting against protections for wolves. Why? So they can keep killing these iconic animals for “fun” and take over the land for mining and logging. This system is broken, Friend. But it’s not too late to fix it. Thanks to members like you, we still have the chance to make real change happen. Will you join us today to fight for wildlife and our planet before the loss is too great? These inhumane hunting practices can’t continue. Help protect wildlife like wolves and the planet and donate $27 before midnight tonight to help us reach our $4,450 goal! [Donate $27 immediately]( [Donate $50 immediately]( [Donate $100 immediately]( [Donate another amount]( We’ve seen the carnage that happens when greedy interests get away with their attacks on safeguards for wolves. When the Trump administration cut federal protections for gray wolves, trophy hunters went on a killing spree. Hundreds of innocent wolves were murdered in a matter of days! Now, Colorado conservationists are working against the odds to protect wolves and the forests they call home. But Colorado’s wolves aren’t bound by state lines. They can still be legally tortured and killed as soon as they leave the state. The same goes for the last wolves left in Yellowstone, Friend. These curious creatures can easily wander outside of the park. And as more surrounding areas slash protections for wolves, the less than 100 wolves that remain are especially vulnerable. If trophy hunters and Big Oil lobbies succeed in dismantling the regulations that keep wolves safe, it could be a disaster. Hunters would have free rein to kill innocent wolves for sport and invade their habitats. Big Polluters could then swoop in and open up wolf habitat for mining and logging. Not to mention, the loss of their habitat would make it impossible for wolf populations to recover. All of this blood and destruction -- just for the sake of corporate greed. These actions have already contributed to the gutting of the Endangered Species Act and protections for wolves, bears, and other vulnerable species. Now, only 6,000 wolves remain in the lower 48 states. The time to act is now, while we can still protect our nation’s wildlife and lands! Wolves could soon be lost forever. Rush your $27 donation now. [Donate $27 immediately]( [Donate $50 immediately]( [Donate $100 immediately]( [Donate another amount]( Believe it or not, wolves are vital to the ecosystems and public lands they live on. They help keep elk and deer populations in check, allowing other plant and animal species to thrive. What’s more, the remains of their kills redistribute nutrients and feed scavengers. They truly are a keystone species -- maintaining balance across the same environments that sustain people, too! That’s why each death of this iconic species is a big deal. But a Trump-era rule rolled back federal protections for gray wolves. And now, the trophy hunting lobby has pushed for even more cruel and inhumane laws throughout wolves’ natural habitats. Even worse, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service could reinstate federal protections in the Northern Rocky states for these creatures -- but has still failed to do so! We can’t stand aside while our wolves are under attack. If brutal trophy hunters won’t even spare the lives of innocent young pups, this majestic species won’t stand a chance. Friends of the Earth is fighting with everything we have to protect the Endangered Species Act. These protections block greedy fossil fuel companies from exploiting our public lands for profit. But they’re now at risk to be opened up to fracking, drilling, and mining that create pollution and harm wildlife and nearby communities, too. That’s why we’ve collected thousands of comments from supporters just like you -- urging our elected leaders to put an end to these vicious attacks against this vital legislation. But there’s still work to do. And we’re up against the powerful hunting lobby and their big industry allies. That’s why vulnerable wildlife and our planet urgently need your help. Please, Friend: the time to act is now to help protect our planet and strengthen the ESA to protect wildlife before time is up. Will you make your $27 membership contribution and help us reach our $4,450 goal today? Protect the remaining wolves, vulnerable wildlife, and our planet from greedy private interests.
