When the Trump administration cut federal protections for gray wolves, trophy hunters went on a killing spree. Hundreds of innocent wolves were murdered in a matter of days! Now, Colorado conservationists are working against the odds to protect wolves and the forests they call home. But Colorado’s wolves aren’t bound by state lines. They can still be legally tortured and killed as soon as they leave the state. The same goes for the last wolves left in Yellowstone, Friend. These curious creatures can easily wander outside of the park. And as more surrounding areas slash protections for wolves, the less than 100 wolves that remain are especially vulnerable.
