URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Cruise ship pollution is harming marine life, our oceanic ecosystems, and our environment! Act Now! >> In 2021 we lost 1,101 manatees -- the worst year on record for these beloved gentle giants. And in 2022, there were over 600 manatee deaths reported. Experts link this decline to a devastating loss of seagrass -- manatees’ primary food source. Seagrass is essential to our oceanic ecosystems -- it absorbs almost a fifth of the entire world’s ocean carbon. This is CRUCIAL in defending our planet from climatic crisis. Seagrass and other valuable marine resources are being decimated by profit-driven cruise ship corporations that dump polluted wastewater into our oceans and churn up sand and contaminants that endanger water quality. The cruise industry is hurting marine life like manatees, destroying our oceans, and harming communities. [TAKE ACTION: Big Cruise corporations are putting profit over our planet, and we MUST hold them accountable for their destructive pollution >>]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( When cruise ships travel close to shore, they churn up sand and contaminants -- endangering water quality and polluting coastal communities. Yet, there is no lasting accountability for the damage the cruise industry causes. Carnival Corp. has already been fined millions TWICE in the last 5 years for its illegal wastewater dumping. But right now, Carnival ships are free to continue sailing, polluting all the way. These greedy Big Cruise corporations will continue to pollute our waters unless we do something immediately. [Friend will you take action now to STOP the cruise ship industry from threatening our oceans and our environment?]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( Thanks for taking action against Big Cruise corporations!
