URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Roundup is wiping out milkweed, a plant that is critical to monarch survival!

URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Roundup is wiping out milkweed, a plant that is critical to monarch survival! Milkweed is the only food source for young monarch caterpillars, and without this vital plant, there would be no place for monarchs to lay their eggs in the first place. Without milkweed, monarchs cannot survive. But over the last two decades, 850 MILLION milkweed plants have VANISHED along with at least 90% of the North American monarch population. A key driver of the disappearance of this important plant is the widespread use of glyphosate, the active ingredient in Bayer-Monsanto’s Roundup. Monarchs are now OFFICIALLY ENDANGERED, and if we are going to have any hope of restoring this vulnerable species, we MUST ban glyphosate immediately. [Will you add your name right away to tell Bayer-Monsanto to STOP selling this butterfly-harming pesticide immediately?]( [SIGN THE PETITION NOW]( Monarchs are one of the most iconic butterflies often seen in our backyards with their vibrant orange and black wings. Right now, they are making their legendary 3,000-mile autumn migration, the longest distance of any insect in the world. Along this extraordinary expedition, monarchs lay their eggs with the next generation of offspring, helping to keep their population thriving. But without enough milkweed plants to do this, their journey is at risk, sending monarchs one step closer to EXTINCTION. [Please, Friend, will you take action now to STOP Roundup from threatening monarch butterflies before it’s too late to save this precious pollinator?]( [SIGN THE PETITION NOW]( Thanks for taking action to save endangered monarchs!
