URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Roundup is contributing to the devastating decline in the ENDANGERED monarch p

URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Roundup is contributing to the devastating decline in the ENDANGERED monarch population! Monarchs just recently joined the Endangered Threatened Species “RED LIST.” The Red List is a critical indicator used when a species’ population has deteriorated enough to be under extremely HIGH RISK OF GLOBAL EXTINCTION. Significant loss of milkweed is cited as a main driver of the surge in monarch deaths -- and a key contributor to the disappearance of these vital plants is glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup. [Monarchs cannot survive without milkweed, so we MUST urge Bayer-Monsanto to STOP selling butterfly-harming products before it’s too late. Add your name right now >>]( [SIGN THE PETITION NOW]( The recent Red List status of monarch butterflies should come as no surprise. We’ve already lost at least 90% of these iconic pollinators over the last two decades alone. Now, with this emergency endangered species classification by the International Union for Conservation of Nature, it’s more urgent than ever that we protect them. It’s also no coincidence that over these same recent years, 850 million milkweed plants have vanished while 300 million pounds of glyphosate is used every year. If milkweed continues to be wiped out, monarchs cannot survive because this essential plant is necessary for reproduction and is the ONLY food source for monarch caterpillars. Glyphosate is the MOST WIDELY USED herbicide in the world, and greedy mega-corporations like Bayer-Monsanto have been prioritizing their profits above monarch survival. [But with your urgent help, monarch butterflies can still be saved. Will you take action NOW to protect these endangered pollinators from EXTINCTION?]( [SIGN THE PETITION NOW]( Thanks for taking action to save endangered monarchs!
