And thanks largely to these toxic pesticides, scientists are warning we are hurtling toward an "insect apocalypse" threatening our food system and planet! What's more, new research shows that glyphosate, found in Bayer's Roundup weedkiller, makes it harder for bumblebees to warm up their hives enough to incubate larvae, decimating breeding rates during periods of food scarcity. Toxic pesticides like this are driving threatened bumblebee populations even closer to extinction. If we want to protect vulnerable bumblebees and other precious insect pollinators from EXTINCTION and ensure that future generations keep food on the table, we need to stand up to Bayer and other Big Polluters NOW!
