URGENT ACTION NEEDED: 40% of critical insect pollinators like bees are at risk of extinction, and losing them and other vulnerable insects could lead to a catastrophic collapse of nature’s ecosystems! Neonic pesticides coat virtually all conventional corn and soy seeds and contaminate the plants that bees rely on for nectar and survival. Neonics are highly toxic to bees, killing them outright, interfering with navigation and reproduction, and making them more susceptible to pests and disease. Over the last 20 years, U.S. farm fields have become 48 TIMES MORE TOXIC to bees and other insects, with neonics largely to blame. Neonics are a key factor in the rapid decline of bees and other pollinators — like the beloved Western bumblebee whose population dropped by 93% over the last two decades! [We MUST stop greedy Big Ag corporations like Bayer-Monsanto from coating seeds with these bee-killing pesticides before it’s too late. Please take action now >>]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( Seeds treated with bee-killing neonics are used across the country, contaminating our water, soil, and plants that pollinators depend on. Pollinators are vital to our food system, and if these toxic pesticides continue to drive them toward EXTINCTION, it will have devastating consequences for us and our planet. But with only four pesticide mega-corporations producing the majority of the world’s seeds and pesticides, farmers have few alternatives to Big Ag’s pre-poisoned seeds. If we are going to save pollinators and stop pesticide-industry greed from devastating our food system, we need the EPA to take action NOW. [Friend, will you add your name right now to urge the EPA to ban neonic-treated seeds by midnight tonight?]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( Thanks for taking urgent action.
