MORE THAN TWENTY DIRTY ENERGY PROJECTS MAY SOON BE APPROVED WITHOUT COMMUNITY CONSULTATION. Gulf Coa

MORE THAN TWENTY DIRTY ENERGY PROJECTS MAY SOON BE APPROVED WITHOUT COMMUNITY CONSULTATION. Gulf Coast residents are sick and tired of living in the shadow of oil and gas infrastructure. Yet, as the Army Corps of Engineers considers new polluting proposals, they are IGNORING messages from 6,000 Gulf Coast residents with one simple request: Meet with us. The Army Corps has a history of fast-tracking permits for billion-dollar companies to extract wealth from Black and Indigenous communities. Without YOUR action, they will continue this harmful legacy without listening to the people its decisions have harmed for decades. [Will you call on the Army Corps to meet with the very communities their reckless decisions impact?]( [SIGN THE PETITION NOW]( The Army Corps has not answered ONE request for a meeting. Each of the proposed sites is home to a unique community with its own needs, history, and people. But the Corps is prepared to rush through permits without considering each individual situation. Gulf South communities are fighting for their safety and dignity. They are shouting from the rooftops that they want NO MORE dirty energy projects. But their demands are falling on deaf ears. You can help make the Army Corp of Engineers listen. [Stand up for Gulf South communities against continued oil and gas terror.]( [SIGN THE PETITION NOW]( Standing with you, Marcie Keever, Oceans & vessels program director, Friends of the Earth Contact Us: Friends of the Earth U.S. Washington, D.C. | Berkeley, CA 1-877-843-8687 [Contact us](foe.org/about-us/contact/) Email Preferences: [Click here to unsubscribe]( Learn more: www.foe.org/news www.foe.org/about-us www.foeaction.org Connect: [Facebook]( [Twitter]( [Flickr]( © 2021, Friends of the Earth.
