Friend, when you open your fridge or your pantry, what do you always see? What are your staples? Friend, when you open your fridge or your pantry, what do you always see? What are your staples? Personally, I can’t go a day without an apple, and I always like to have a handful of nuts on standby. What if I told you these staples will be a LOT harder to find if we don’t save pollinators from BEE-KILLING pesticides? Our food system is heavily reliant on bees. In fact, we have pollinators to thank for 1 of every 3 bites of food we eat! But grocery giants like Target still sell food grown with bee-killing pesticides. If Target joined competitors like Kroger in requiring farming practices aimed at reducing pesticide use in its supply chain, it would be a huge win for bees! Target is convening its annual shareholder meeting in just a FEW DAYS – which means right now is your BEST OPPORTUNITY to push Target to step up and protect bees! [Tell Target: say NO to food grown with bee-killing pesticides!]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( Pollinators are being pushed to the brink, Friend. Over the past few decades, U.S. agriculture has become 48x MORE TOXIC to bees! Wild bee populations are crashing hard, like the beloved Western Bumblebee, which has declined by 93% in the same time period. The pesticides used to grow the food that Target and other major grocers sell pose risks to you and me as well! Neonic pesticides have been linked to birth defects of the heart and brain, hormone disruption, and other serious health issues. How do you feel knowing these chemicals may be applied to the staples in your fridge or pantry? We successfully pushed Kroger to set measurable goals to implement pollinator-friendly policies, Friend. With your help, we can make Target do the same. But we need you to act RIGHT NOW, just before Target’s annual shareholder meeting! [Protect pollinators from toxic pesticides!
