URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Tell the EPA to STOP supporting factory farms gas! >> URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Tell the EPA to STOP supporting factory farms gas! >> You know how bad factory farms are, Friend – thousands of animals crammed together in filthy conditions. Air and water POISONED in surrounding communities. Toxic cesspools of untreated fecal waste. Big Ag lobbyists have spent MILLIONS of dollars to ensure lax oversight of this horrific industry. Worse, they have successfully lobbied the government to subsidize the practice of turning toxic manure into greenwashed factory farm gas as a ploy to “reduce methane emissions.” But this support only further entrenches these toxic and abusive factory farms and their climate-warming pollution. [Friend, will you be one of the 128 more people we need from your area to sign by 11:59pm TONIGHT? Tell the EPA to end support for factory farms and greenwashed gas!]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( Big Ag claims that factory farm gas will reduce emissions. The reality is it pollutes just like fossil fuels. Clean energy like wind and solar are REAL solutions to the climate crisis – factory farm gas is another ploy by greedy corporations to maintain their power and profits. The EPA is tasked with protecting our planet and communities. Supporting factory farm gas and further entrenching the power of Big Meat and Dairy corporations do the opposite. That’s why I need your IMMEDIATE help, Friend! [Please, Friend send the EPA a message: NO support for factory farms or factory farm gas!]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( Standing with you, Molly Armus Animal Agriculture Policy Program Manager, Friends of the Earth Contact Us: Friends of the Earth U.S. Washington, D.C. | Berkeley, CA PO Box 7010 Merrifield, VA 22116-7010 1-877-843-8687 [Contact us](foe.org/about-us/contact/) Email Preferences: [Click here to unsubscribe]( Learn more: www.foe.org/news www.foe.org/about-us www.foeaction.org Connect: [Facebook]( [Twitter]( [Flickr]( © 2017, Friends of the Earth.
