The following is based on TRUE reports of allegations currently under investigation. BREAKING: The ruthless torture and killing of a Wyoming gray wolf sparks outrage, even leaving local authorities disturbed. [Take action now! >>]( If you have a weak stomach, this email might not be for you, Friend. The following is based on TRUE reports of allegations currently under investigation. The wolf was apparently captured by a hunter in Wyoming where there are virtually NO rules or limitations for murdering gray wolves. After being viciously run down with a snowmobile, the helpless animal sustained injuries that rendered it disabled. But rather than putting the mangled wolf out of its misery, the merciless hunter TAPED ITS MOUTH SHUT and brought it home before bringing it into a local bar all for cheap thrills and bragging rights. The poor wolf was then brutally shot and killed out back of the public establishment. The cruel capture, public display, and delayed killing of this precious gray wolf are absolutely heartbreaking — and the devastating truth is that every single day, even more gray wolves like this are enduring some of the most inhumane hunting methods imaginable. Friend, we can’t just sit back and watch the last of our precious gray wolves be TORTURED and WIPED OUT at the hands of blood-thirsty trophy hunters who are recklessly murdering this beloved canine for sport. [Will you step up and take action today to help SAVE innocent wolves from being tortured and slaughtered? Add your name now to demand federal protections for gray wolves immediately >>]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( If this is how hunters treat gray wolves with limited protections in the Northern Rockies now, imagine the bloody massacre that will occur if the few remaining federal protections for gray wolves outside the Greater Yellowstone area are REMOVED. That’s exactly what extremist lawmakers and their hunting lobby allies are aiming to do right now in their efforts to strip away all safeguards for gray wolves listed under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). There are only about 124 wolves remaining in Yellowstone. Although they are protected within the park, they can easily set their tiny paws across state lines into any of the three Northern Rockies states that border the park that lack adequate hunting laws. Gray wolves are running out of time, and we could be their very last hope to save them from EXTINCTION. These voiceless animals are depending on us to advocate for them before we lose one of North America’s most treasured mammals forever. As a RAPID RESPONSE to the recent torture and murder of this gray wolf in Wyoming, we are urgently calling on 5,621 more grassroots activists like you to help demonstrate strong public support by signing our petition by 11:59 P.M. TONIGHT.
