URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Tell Target to step up and help SAVE BEES! URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Tell Target to step up and help SAVE BEES! [Take immediate action!]( Friend, did you know that many of the foods that Target sells – from packaged products to ears of corn and apples – are grown with toxic pesticides? In many cases, these pesticides are absorbed by the produce and cannot be washed off! Meanwhile, studies are showing that these pesticides are linked to serious health issues like birth defects of the heart and brain and hormone disruption! The pesticides can KILL BEES too, which are critical for the food system we all rely on to survive. In fact, pollinators are responsible for 1 of every 3 bites of food we eat! [Friend, tell Target to protect pollinators from bee-killing pesticides!]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( Pollinator populations have been CRATERING over the past few decades. The beloved western bumblebee population declined 93%! Toxic pesticides, like the ones used to grow the food on Target’s shelves, are a key reason why many wild bees are hurtling toward EXTINCTION! Here’s why I know your signature can make a real difference, Friend: in 2020, Target released a pollinator health policy acknowledging the importance of eliminating neonic pesticides and chlorpyrifos from its supply chain. That was a good first step – but since then, Target hasn’t made any measurable commitments to protect bees from pesticides! A push from you could help Target strengthen its pollinator health policy and take real action! [Please, Friend, we need 5,137 more signatures to help hit our midnight goal and help protect bees!
