URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Fight toxic and abusive factory farms! >> Sign the petition now! URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Fight toxic and abusive factory farms! >> [Sign the petition now!]( Picture this: thousands of animals crammed together in filthy conditions. Untreated fecal waste stored in massive TOXIC CESSPOOLS, contaminating drinking water and air for local communities. Friends of the Earth has been fighting factory farms for a long time now. With your help, Friend, we’ve made real progress. People are tuning in to the dangers to public health and the unimaginable animal cruelty of industrial agriculture. Rather than continue this progress, the EPA is instead endorsing greenwashed factory farm gas to “reduce methane emissions” – but factory farm gas pollutes just like fossil fuels. [Tell the EPA to stop its support for factory farm gas and protect people and the environment from toxic factory farm pollution by 11:59pm TONIGHT!]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( Government support for factory farm gas will only further entrench the power of Big Ag. Instead of paying polluters in an attempt to “reduce emissions,” we should be fighting for a just, sustainable food system that doesn’t pollute communities. Toxic factory farms are disproportionately sited in overburdened communities – often largely low-income and people of color. This is not an industry that the Environmental Protection Agency should be supporting, don’t you think? [Please, Friend, we need at least 37 more signatures from your area to hit our midnight goal. Will you sign and tell the EPA to stop supporting factory farm gas?]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( Standing with you, Molly Armus Animal Agriculture Policy Program Manager, Friends of the Earth Contact Us: Friends of the Earth U.S. Washington, D.C. | Berkeley, CA 1-877-843-8687 [Contact us](foe.org/about-us/contact/) Email Preferences: [Click here to unsubscribe]( Learn more: www.foe.org/news www.foe.org/about-us www.foeaction.org Connect: [Facebook]( [Twitter]( [Flickr]( © 2017, Friends of the Earth.
