[1 Million for Work Flexibility](
FIND US ON THE WEB
Dear {NAME},
Millions of people caught the hilarious/embarrassing/honest video of [when working from home goes wrong, starring a BBC interviewee who gets interrupted by his kids on live TV](. Given that I am so passionate about remote working, and my friends know it, I must've had 20 people send it to me directly to make sure I'd seen it. I watched it about as many times, and I laugh and cringe every time!
The honest truth is, working from home is not foolproof... but neither is any traditional office environment I've ever worked in. And moreover, one of the reasons I personally love it is that [working from home allows us to be more human](. It gives me the privacy and freedom to optimize my productivity, and especially to cut out the time-consuming formalities while instead adding in [personal enjoyments that boost my energy and focus](. For example, some of my embarrassing habits or moments (mid-day dance breaks, talking to myself sometimes, the occasional days I roll out of bed for an early meeting without a glance in the mirror... the list goes on!) are not usually witnessed by my colleagues. :-)
Which is why I thoroughly empathized with Professor Kelly when his two worlds came colliding, causing viewers from all over the world to witness and respond. Many had similar reactions to mine, while others instead thought, "See? This is another reason working from home doesn't work!" [We'd love to hear what you thought about it or what can be learned from this story.](
And now, please read on for great job search tips and current postings, and thank you for trusting us to help in your job search to find great telecommuting, freelance, part-time and flexible schedule opportunities! And if you decide to [use FlexJobs yourself to get a leg up in your job search]( be sure to enter promo code "NEWSLETTER" to get 30% off! Many cheers,

[Florida Mom Lands Remote Job, Ends Long Commute and Saves $4,000 a Year](
It can be a harsh reality: if you have an office job, not only are you spending precious time on a long commute to and from work, but you're also probably shelling out big bucks to do so. Melissa Hustin, a work-at-home mom of two in Tampa, Florida, had that same epiphany about three years ago. Featured in ABC Action News segment, "Telecommuting Jobs on the Rise," Hustin thought, like many people, that working from home would be too good to be true--and an impossibility. But it turns out that neither are true!

But for many reasons, at-home jobs may require you to be in a specific location, including the bigger picture perceived by the company.
