Happy mid week {NAME}! Can't believe we are already in full swing of the Christmas season! Flip Of T

Happy mid week {NAME}! Can't believe we are already in full swing of the Christmas season! (my favorite time of year.) Flip Of The Week Yesterday I had a nice $1,500 sale! I picked it up on our summer road trip for $65 And it only took a few months to sell because I finally got it listed last week... So this is your reminder to get your stuff listed! ;) I bought this cooktop on Facebook Marketplace from a guy who was super nice. He was actually a scrapper who thought this cooktop was too nice to go to the scrap yard. So he thought he would throw it on Marketplace and see if anyone would want it. He told me if I didn't pick it up that day he was taking it for scrap yard the next day. This is why I love this flipping gig so much. Not only did the guy make $65 on a free item he got, the cooktop was saved from the landfill and now has a new owner who wanted it and appreciates it! And I got paid well for my time! Win-win-win! Find of the week If you've been around here for a while you know that I can't pass up a good trash find! Well yesterday while driving home, I spotted this massage chair on the side of the road. It was a nice leather one so of course I had to grab it. I did go up to the house to knock and ask about it, but no one answered the door. After bringing it home, I figured out why it was on the side of the road. It needed a few things fixed on it, so instead of taking on another project, I put it back out for trash. That's the beauty of trash finds. If they can't be salvaged or sold, you can always put them back on the side of the road! Nothing invested except a few minutes of time. Preventing Local Pickup Scams On Ebay Most sales that go through ebay are shipped to the customer and have a tracking number so everyone can make sure it was delivered to the customer. But there are times that you could have someone locally buy the item and you meet them for pick up. In the past there was no way for ebay to know if the buyer received the item, and they could come back and claim they never received it. But now they can prove it was delivered as long as you make sure you scan the QR code! Today on the podcast we dive into [how to prevent local pickup scams on ebay.]( Member Spotlight Holy cow, this flip was so cool to see in our members group! Flipper University Alum Jenny picked up this oven on her summer road trip (sound familiar? - get those trips to pay for themselves!) She bought it for $400 in the local market and sold it on ebay for $5,400!! So flipping cool! That was a nice payday for her this weekend! And from ONE flip! Kudos Jenny!
