Flea Market Flipper 5-Day Course | Day 2 Are You Getting Paid What You're Worth? Howdy {NAME}! Welco

Flea Market Flipper 5-Day Course | Day 2 Are You Getting Paid What You're Worth? Howdy {NAME}! Welcome to day 2! Today we are going to dive deeper into finding out what your time is worth. Mistake #2 that eats up flipping profit is not valuing your time enough. Everyone knows that time is valuable, but are you getting paid accordingly? If you are pursuing flipping as a side-hustle, you are already more pressed for time because you have something else that is important that takes a lot of your time as well. It may be your full-time job, taking care of your kids, taking care of your parents, all of the above, or anything else that is a priority in your life. That means the time you spend flipping needs to matter. It needs to make you a profit. And not just a profit, but a good profit. It’s the difference between making $1, $10, or $100 for an hour of your time. We talked about overpaying for items in yesterday’s email. If you overpay for an item, your profit obviously drops. But many people don’t factor in their time that they spend sourcing items, taking pictures, listing and shipping. If you sell one hundred $10 items, that’s $1,000 – which is awesome! But how many hours does it take to find, list and ship each item? The time obviously varies from person to person, but it’s a lot of hours. What if you could sell ten $100 items instead? How much less time is involved for the same $1,000! The latter is the route we choose – and it’s what we help our [course members achieve](. Everyone is busy. Life gets crazy. But if you make it a priority to do higher profit items, then you can make the same amount of money (or more) in way less time. This is not to say it’s easier. This is not a get-rich-quick scheme (those don’t work). Anything worthwhile will take a little work, but those are also the things that are completely worth it! If there was a way to work “smarter, not harder” wouldn’t you want to try it? We see a lot of resellers shipping out massive amounts of small profit items all the time. And a big kudos to them for the work they have put in, and the work ethic they have to keep it up! But we have decided that we don’t want to put in all those hours for a few dollars here and there. We have three young kids who demand a lot of our time and it makes a lot more sense for us to put our time into the higher profit items. As a general rule we won’t buy anything that won’t make at least $50. There are a few exceptions here and there, (like when we are learning a new category of items), but $50 is typically on the low side for our profits. So you have to make a decision on what your time is worth. Everyone has the same 24 hours in a day. If you are finding yourself tight on both money and time, then diving into the higher profit items just might make sense for you. --------------------------------------------------------------- Talk to Us! Would you prefer to sell small $5 items or higher profit items worth $50 or more? (reply to this e-mail) --------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for being awesome!
