Adding freight shipping to our flipping business completely changed our lives 9 years ago. We had just made the decision to go full-time with flipping and had 3 kids at home ages 3 and under. It was slight chaos. Flipping was now our full-time income instead of extra income so we had the stress of make more to provide for our family. The flip that changed everything for us was a dining set that I purchased at an auction for $350. It was a beautiful set and I knew I could get at least double my money for it. So I listed it on Facebook Marketplace for $750 and it sat. It sat for about a month with no bites. I didn't want to list it on ebay because I didn't think I could ship it, but once I looked at some similar dining sets on there, I decided to take a chance. I listed it for $2,200 plus $500 for shipping and I thought if it sold I would figure out shipping. Well, a few weeks later it SOLD! â That was my AHA moment that there could be something to shipping these larger items and making A LOT more profits! We went from a 2x mindset that day to now being able to 10x our investments with the right tools.
