A message from CEO, Ned Lyerly [A Message To Our Guests, Our proud tradition over the years has been to treat those visiting our restaurants as if they were “honored guests” in our own homes. This special kind of “guest service” has set us apart and all our restaurant teams at Carl’s Jr. are proud to serve our guests each day with a smile. Our guests have always been our top priority in our restaurants and our entire team do their best to provide quality food, friendly service and a clean and inviting restaurant every day. Our hearts go out to all those affected in our local communities by the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), and we are closely watching the evolving situation and taking the appropriate actions for our business. On behalf of the entire Carl’s Jr. team, we want to assure you that in times like these, the safety of our guests visiting our restaurants, as well as our team members who are serving them, remain our highest priority. I want to personally reach out to you to provide an update on actions we’ve taken to help prevent the spread of the virus and support the health and well-being of our guests and team members. Over the last weeks, we have escalated the cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting of our facilities and have provided our in-restaurant teams with added procedures and precautions to serve our guests as safely as possible. You may have already seen those actions in your local restaurant, and we will continue to evaluate our operating procedures and adjust accordingly. We have also prepared our stores to respond quickly to any emerging situation, in proactive partnership with local and national health authorities.] [Further, we have provided our restaurant teams with enhanced training and guidelines to increase awareness of safe food handling procedures and to maintain a heightened sense of awareness of restaurant conditions while adhering to the highest industry standards for cleaning every restaurant, every day. We remain vigilant and supportive of local authorities should conditions change and will follow all local guidelines and notifications. We truly appreciate your understanding as a valued guest, and hope that you will continue to visit us in our dining rooms, drive-thrus and via our delivery partners. We have a long standing tradition of serving hot, great tasting burgers and our famous made-from scratch biscuits, along with our entire menu of your favorite foods, and we want to continue to proudly serve you in all our local communities and neighborhoods, which we are so proud to be a part of. We value every guest, every visit. We want to continue our rich heritage of restaurant visit excellence. That is our commitment to you. Thank you again for being a valued guest. We will continue to monitor the situation across our system and provide the latest information, so you feel confident visiting us. We will also continue to provide the highest level of service and let our “star shine” for you each day! On behalf of the Leadership Teams at Carl’s Jr. and all our team members across this great country, we are with you and we are all in this together. We are always “Happy” to serve you and hope to see you soon!
