[Beadfest]( Dear Friends, I remember the very first Bead Fest, when we threw open the doors, we were thrilled to see a line of people waiting to get in. I have the same feeling this year--I can't wait for you to come and experience the [20th Bead Fest!]( It will be so special to get together after our pandemic hiatus, with amazing classes, great shopping, and lots of catching up. [Convention Center]( When I think about the past two decades of Bead Fest, I realize what an important event it is in my life. I remember calling instructors I'd never met to invite them to teach and who have now become very dear friends. And there were years when my teenage sons helped build the show inside a warehouse. Things have changed a lot, and this year is shaping up to be our best year yet. There's no feeling like being part of something where you all belong. In addition to a gorgeous convention center and hotel, we're adding other new facets to the biggest show in the country. I'll be teaching a series of Getting Started workshops where new students will be introduced to basic techniques for the first time. We also have beginner to advanced workshops with instructors traveling from Austria, Italy, Canada, and more. Many of our workshops are already sold out--people seem almost as excited as I am to be back in person.
