Stocks Rose During Wednesday Trading

Stocks rallied on Wednesday, bringing fuel to a market that is defying the bears. Every major index had a massive day yesterday, and the movement could inspire your next investment. Looking across the benchmark indexes, it's positive. The NASDAQ Composite gained 2.89% or 360 points yesterday. The S&P 500 gained 2.13% or 87 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 1.63% or 535 points. Optimism for an inflation peak was one of the reasons for the positive movement. Grocery prices increased at the highest rate since 1979, in July. Analysts think there isn't much room for prices to go higher. Gas prices came down, falling below $4 for the first time in months.
