Hi {NAME},  Guess what? You’ve been a part of the Filthy Rich Writer community for just about

Hi {NAME},  Guess what? You’ve been a part of the Filthy Rich Writer community for just about a year now!  Happy Anniversary. :)  And, as with any good relationship, I’ve gotten you a gift for our anniversary.  But before we get to that, I think it’s important to do a check-in. To evaluate how things are going.  Because it’s not just our anniversary (you and I), but it’s also likely the one year anniversary of you deciding that copywriting might be for you.  So…how are things going? How are things working out for you?  Are you writing copy for a living? Loving what you do and who you work with? Loving that your income isn’t something you really worry about anymore?  Are you working in an awesome ad agency or with an amazing in-house creative team?  Or are you freelance or contracting, making your own schedule and deciding when you want to work and from where?  OR…  Are you still where you were a year ago?  Still thinking that…someday…you’ll get around to changing things? Still thinking that the time isn’t quite right?  Still dreading work every morning and still at the whim of your boss’ or your company’s desires?  If this is you, then GOOD.  Because there’s no one who’s more ready for a real, lasting change than you.  For the past year, you’ve been thinking, “I’ll do it someday,” “I’ll figure it out on my own,” or “The time isn’t right.”  But now you know FOR SURE. You’ve had one full year. Now you can be positive that your “someday” will never come, the “right time” never appears and you won’t “figure it out” on your own.  And that’s a great place to be. Because you can start fresh! You can set aside all of those misjudgments and mistaken ideas about the “future.”  One of my favorite business coaches, James Wedmore, says, “What got you here, won’t get you there.”  Which means that the things that you’ve been doing and the choices you’ve been making have gotten you to exactly THIS POINT in your life. And doing those same things will keep generating you the same results, the same life.  If you want a different life, a different experience, a different path, you have to think and do things differently!  And you have proof! You know that a year of thinking and acting the same way will only get you the same life!  Isn’t that amazing to understand? In fact, I think it’s pretty liberating:  Instead of doing the same thing day in and day out and wondering why your life isn’t better or different, you know better! You know you have to think and act differently to get a different life.  Woohoo!  And, even better, over the next couple of days, I’m going to help you dismantle some of the thoughts and concerns that are keeping you from making a change.  And then, right after that, my anniversary gift will appear. :)  Sound good? Great! Then keep your eyes on your inbox.  Happy Anniversary! Nicki To make sure you keep getting these emails, please add contact@filthyrichwriter.com to your address book or whitelist us. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
