Before I share what he said about me, I need to underscore this: Donald Trump poses a unique and dangerous threat to our democracy. We are at risk of seeing a convicted felon, who has no regard for the rule of law, elected as President of the United States â a position from which he could do unspeakable damage to our democracy here at home, and democracies around the world. [Help me defeat him once and for all. Chip in a split donation of $10 between my campaign and Fight for Reform to help them elect state and local Democrats.]( [DONATE »]( In an hour-long softball interview with Dr. Phil, Trump attacked the judge in the New York trial, President Biden, and the jury of 12 Americans who unanimously ruled he was guilty of 34 felony counts. He came after me as well. [Image of Donald Trump being interviewed by Dr. Phil]( âI call him watermelon head. Heâs got the thinnest neck Iâve ever seen. Very unattractive guy, both inside and outside. These are bad people.â Friend, trust me â Iâve been called a lot worse by Donald Trump and his MAGA cronies. What concerns me far more is how Trump, in this very interview and numerous other recent campaign events, has explicitly called for revenge against his political rivals. Rivals like me. Like his call to prosecute me and other members of the January 6 Committee. God forbid Trump makes it back to the White House, he will use his powers to seek retribution against the people who have held him accountable for his crimes and disgraceful behavior. Including me. He tried to do this during his first term, and he lashed out at his former attorney general for not going after rivals with baseless investigations and lawsuits. But if heâs president for a second time, heâll only appoint cabinet officials who do exactly what he wants. Donald Trump has promised to be a dictator on day one. He admires leaders like Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un. Thatâs the risk he poses to our country. [While the attacks start with schoolyard names like âwatermelon head,â they will only escalate from here, friend. We need to do everything we can to make sure Donald Trump does not take back the White House. Please pitch in a split contribution between my campaign to support Democrats and to continue holding Trump to account and Fight for Reform to help them elect state and local Democrats.
