Here’s why I support Josh — and why you should too! Josh knows policy issues backward and forward. Together Josh and I did good stuff when he was my counsel on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee – good stuff like protecting victims of domestic violence. In the Violence Against Women Act, Josh and I wrote a provision that protected survivors of domestic violence from homelessness. And Josh and I got that protection through a divided Senate, a Republican House, and signed into law. Republicans lie and say Josh was bad on crime, but here’s the truth. Josh and I advanced legislation that funded the police! Providing bullet-proof vests for local and state police. And funding crisis intervention training to teach police officers how to de-escalate situations. Together in the Senate, we also made a lot of Republican witnesses look very bad at hearings when we cross-examined them. Josh really, really cares about all the stuff I care about. And he is the hardest worker I know. And finally, NY-19 is considered a tossup and one of the most competitive in the nation. [So, what do you say? Will you join me by splitting a contribution between Josh’s campaign and Fight For Reform to elect state and local Democrats today?]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your split donation between Fight for Reform and Josh Riley will go through immediately: [CONTRIBUTE $7 »]( [CONTRIBUTE $25 »]( [CONTRIBUTE $50 »]( [CONTRIBUTE $100 »]( [Or a custom donation »]( This is important to me. And to our nation. Thanks, Al P.S. I always add a P.S to these letters to make another ask. It’s a cheap tactic but for some reason it works! [DONATE HERE.]( Josh Riley is only asking for contributions of up to $5,000 from individuals, federal PACs, and other federally permissible sources for End Citizens United-Nonfederal. Josh Riley is not asking for contributions in excess of that amount or any contributions from corporations, unions, or other federally prohibited sources. Paid political advertisement paid for and provided in kind by End Citizens United Nonfederal, P.O. Box 66005, Washington, D.C. 20035. Authorized by Josh Riley for Congress. Your contribution to FFR will be used in connection with FFR’s matching funds program to match the contributions of other contributors. Contributions to End Citizens United Non-Federal are not tax deductible. [fightforreform.org](#) Thank you for supporting Fight For Reform, a State Level Project of End Citizens United. The Supreme Court’s 2010 Citizens United v. FEC decision completely changed the landscape of American politics -- it opened the door for billionaires, corporations, and special interests to spend unlimited, untraceable money to influence our elections. Fight For Reform is standing up to Big Money by electing champions of campaign finance reform and voting rights to state government, and passing reform ballot initiatives. Please, consider making a [one-time contribution by clicking here](. Or, to help us reject the Big Money status quo in states and cities across the country, make a [monthly sustaining contribution by clicking here](. [Click here]( to request fewer emails.
