REKR is shooting green this morning and for good reason. (REKR) Makes Quick Green Move At The Bell (Over 10 Triggered Technicals + Breaking News) September 13th Dear Reader, REKR is shooting green this morning and for good reason. The company just dropped this must-see news. Check it out: Breakthrough Rekor Command(TM) Platform for AI-based Traffic Management Now Available in AWS Marketplace Out-of-the-box secure SaaS AI-driven traffic management solution in AWS Marketplace simplifies and expedites procurement for government agencies to be at the forefront of digital infrastructure and roadway intelligence COLUMBIA, MD / ACCESSWIRE / September 13, 2023 / Rekor Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:REKR) (the "Company"), a trusted global authority in developing and delivering roadway intelligence using state-of-the-art artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), today announced that its Rekor Command™ Platform is now available in AWS Marketplace. AWS Marketplace is a digital catalog with thousands of software listings from independent software vendors that make it easy to find, test, buy, and deploy software that runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS). ... [Read the full article here.]( On top of that, REKR is displaying a ton of bullish technicals across the short, medium, and long term over at [Barchart.]( We're talking 10+ triggered technicals. Don't waste another second and get this Nasdaq breakout idea on your radar before it's too late. ----- We have a spicy AI company profile for you today. AI has been the talk of the town in 2023.....everyone and their mother has been trying to get on the bandwagon. We're talking, the "Microsofts" and "Googles" of the world! Why? Because it's expected to have unprecedented growth in the coming years! The global artificial intelligence market is expected to hit around $2.5Tn by 2032 (according to Precedence Research), progressing with a CAGR of 19% from 2023 to 2032. While the big players will have their foot in the broader AI space, there will likely be plenty of opp. for industry specific companies to revolutionize their respective niches. This is where Rekor Systems comes in... Rekor is an AI company that collects, connects, and organizes the world’s mobility data to deliver revolutionary roadway intelligence. This data is then used for three main services: 1.) Rekor Discover- provides traffic and vehicle analytics 2.) Rekor Command- identifies affecting events such as accidents and zones at risk 3.) Rekor Scout- detects vehicle license plates and pinpoint locations While these services are related, they serve three distinct groups of clientele. Discover is likely to serve individuals and institutions interested in data collection, the methods for which have not changed much in the past 70 years... Since this is a data set that is required by the federal government, there is likely a demand for improved methodologies. Discover provides just that! It can identify and classify vehicles in ways that are safer, more accurate, and more efficient than the traditional analog sensors used since the 1950s. Command on the other hand is likely to serve first responders... By identifying more events and minimizing detection time, this platform optimizes the efficiency of response teams. Quicker incident detection translates to faster restoration of normal traffic flow, minimizing disruptions and enhancing overall road safety. Finally, Scout helps enhance safety across various sectors. Whether we are talking about a government agency, law enforcement entity, business owner, or even a homeowner, Scout is designed to provide accurate and real-time license plate and vehicle recognition... Rekor has made some bold and exciting moves over the last year that have helped position the company in the advantageous position they're in today. For one, they acquired Southern Traffic Services (STS) in June of 2022... Operating predominantly in the Southeast, STS manages over 30,000 traffic data collection sites scattered across various states. With AI and machine learning, having large amounts of data points is key in order to speed up the "learning" process... Rekor also recently announced that they are partnering with Tel Aviv University LAMBDA in order to optimize the trade-off between detection time and accuracy in incident reporting. While it's admirable that the company is looking to be a pioneer in their field, it is also important to see whether they are posting solid numbers... Fortunately, they don't seem to be disappointing in that department either! In their most recent earnings report they announced: - gross revenue increase of 132% YoY - recurring revenue increase of 178% YoY - Adjusted EBITDA loss decrease from $12.0Mn for Q2 2022 to $7.2Mn for Q2 2023 To the uninitiated a loss may seem like a big deal, but this is very normal for earlier stage growth companies... The transition to pro-fit-ability typically takes time and is preceded by a period of strong revenue growth! It also seems that the company is setting themselves up nicely for strong numbers in the future... Rekor announced back in April that they were awarded $14.145Mn in new multiyear contracts from South Carolina and Florida's departments of transportation. Now, it's not all about the fundamentals... Technical analysis is a critical tool in determining whether the price action is well positioned for future bullish sentiment. And let me tell you... The profile is an absolute beauty from the technical side of things! The price action has been exhibiting a classic stair step pattern over the past few months. I know what you're thinking.....why do we even give a hoot? This is how the bulls can keep going in an upward direction without overextending and potentially derailing the rally. The question naturally becomes though... How long can "REKR" maintain this bullish sentiment? As it turns out, if we look at the long term price action history of the stock, the last 3 months is barely a blip on the radar! This means that at least from a technical standpoint, there could be plenty of more opp's for future bullish sentiment... There are no guarantees of course, so it's always important to manage risk appropriately. With all that said, we do feel that the profile is at least worth having on your radar...
