Yesterday I sent out one of the most useful emails I've ever sent out...if you have an email list. B

Yesterday I sent out one of the most useful emails I've ever sent out...if you have an email list. (I'll share the full email below in a second.) But it made one dude real mad. Here's what he said: "I should cancel you. This takes about 20 minutes to do. And you’re funneling your own subscribers who don’t know any better to be charged $500 for it?" Imagine being mad because someone sent out a helpful email WITH a solution to a problem? Now let's go through each line... "I should cancel you." Ok. I don't know what you mean by that, but cool. Cancel me publicly? Unsubscribe from my list? Do what you want mate. No one is stopping you. But I don't think you have the power to "cancel" me as a human being haha. "It takes about 20 minutes to do." He's talking about setting up the DKIM and DMARC stuff for email. That's what I sent out about yesterday. And he might be right...in certain situations. Every list is WAY different. It took Jonathan a full hour to sort out my list because I had a weird set up. If I had tried to do it myself it would've taken hours...and I would've likely messed it up. My time is also more valuable to me than spending hours figuring it out. "And you’re funneling your own subscribers who don’t know any better to be charged $500 for it?" This has to be the funniest part of his response. As you'll see below...I literally say DO IT YOURSELF if you don't wanna pay to have someone do it. I'm not forcing anyone to do anything. I'm literally offering a great solution to a big problem. If people wanna do it themselves they can. And they may not have known they had to do it if I hadn't sent out my email. And for $500 you get Jonathan to fix your email list for you...and you can do a full hour consult with him. That's a great deal in my opinion. One of the great lessons of this email is simple: No matter what you do in this world, it's gonna piss someone off on the internet. You could literally give away money and someone would say it wasn't enough. Or you did it wrong. People are gonna hate on what you do NO MATTER WHAT. Don't let that stop you from doing stuff. Anyways, I wanted to send at least one more email to let you you know about this whole issue cuz it's a big deal. Here's the email I sent yesterday in case you missed it... This is one of the most important emails I've ever sent...if you have an email list. If you don't have an email list, feel free to skip this email. I would've sent this only to people with email lists if I could've, but that wasn't possible. Ok, still here? I'm not exaggerating when I say how important this is. And time sensitive. Did you know that beginning in February 2024 Gmail and Yahoo will begin requiring DKIM and DMARC to achieve delivery? If you don't know what those are, don't worry. Most people don't. But you do need to set them up before February 1st or your emails straight up won't get delivered...and you'll risk ending up in spam and ruining your list. It's that big of a deal. If you have an email list of over 5,000 people, this pertains to you. If your list is smaller than that right now, technically you're safe, but I wouldn't risk it. Longish story short...you need to make sure this is all set up properly or you're effed. And you have about 9 days to set it up. I'll be the first to admit that I know a lot about email deliverability...but very little about the technical side and set up of it all. I'm not good at doing tech stuff. It's just not my jam...or jelly. However, I have a buddy that's an email tech wizard. He's also really good at strategy and weird email stuff you've probably never thought about... He hit me up to make sure I had this stuff set up properly. I did not. He offered to get it set up for me. He took care of all of it and holy lord am I glad he did. I would have messed up all sorts of stuff if he wasn't doing it for me. He coached me through it while I shared my screen. There's a bunch of little things I would've surely screwed up without his help. And he offered to do it for people on my email list. He'll set up everything for you, you don't have to lift a finger. Just give him the info he needs and he'll sort you out. If you don't get this sorted out, it could cost you thousands or tens of thousands or more. It's just $500 to have him do it for you. He'll literally take care of everything. And as part of that offer you can also do an hour consult with him if you want to. (You don't have to do the call, but I'd highly recommend you do it.) He's made little tweaks to my email lists that have had a big impact. He's a legit email genius in a unique way. If you do the call with him, I'm confident you'll make back way more than the $500. (Depending on your list of course.) [ Click here to have him fix your stuff]( You can also try to do it yourself. If you're really strapped for cash, you can give it a shot. I know how valuable my list is, and the last thing I wanted to do was mess up one little detail and have it screw up my business. Either way, I just wanted to make sure you were aware of the changes that are coming because it's a BIG deal. I would personally just hire Jonathan like I did. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
