Yesterday I met up with an old college teammate in Oslo, Norway that I hadn't seen in 14 years. The last time we hung out I was 18 and he was 20. As we reminisced about how stupid and wild we were, I noticed this sign between our beers on the table and snapped a photo. Rarely do things like this make me laugh. And rarely do I feel inclined to snap a photo of them. But this one made me chuckle because I know that the version of Ian who has to deal with a slow internet is not the best version of Ian. I used to lose my mind when technology wouldn't cooperate with me. Now I do my best to use it as an opportunity to surrender and slow down. (Although I'm still human and sometimes I have to let out a yell and exclaim to the gods to cast down lightning upon the creator of technology that's upsetting me.) So why am I sharing this with you? 1. It's kinda funny. 2. The good thing about making a living from writing emails is that you can do it even if you have a slow ass internet connection. Is it better with a fast internet connection? Of course. Most things are. However, even if you have dial up (does that even exist these days?) you could still make a living online. If you have your own email list you just have to fire up your Email Service Provider and send out an email. That would probably take 5 minutes instead of 1 minute with slow internet. If you get paid to write for clients you can literally write your emails in text file and then email them to your clients. That would still probably be less than 10 seconds on the internet. Technically you could do all of this from your phone if you like writing on your phone. I prefer a laptop personally. If you wanna learn how to get paid to write emails for other people I recommend you apply for my high-end coaching program that shows you every single thing you need to do to go from zero to six figures. And you get 3 coaching calls every single week. [ Click here to apply now]( No matter what, do your best to be a good person when your internet is slow. (But also don't beat yourself up if you want to throw your laptop through a window.) That's all for now. Whitney and I are off to explore Oslo on our final day in Norway. Tomorrow we're off to Nice, France. (But before we leave we'll be watching Liverpool play in an English pub that's supposed to be FULL of Liverpool supporters.) Talk soon, Ian "the internet was fast today" Stanley Sent to: {EMAIL} [Unsubscribe]( Almost Passive Income, 3000 Mountain Shadow Rd, Boise, ID 83702, United States

The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
