Do you have it? ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ You know the #1 trait I look for in people I coach or companies I consult for? Coach-ability. Yes, there are other traits that matter. But if they don't have coach-ability then nothing else matters. It's the foundation upon which everything else is built. I was NOT coachable when I was growing up. When it came to tennis, I was every coaches wet dream and nightmare all wrapped into package. I was physically super talented. But I had a horrible temper and had trouble listening to coaches once I was angry. (Only on the tennis court. Off court I was chill.) Emotionally and mentally I was one of the worst players out there. I couldn't control myself and it drove everyone crazy. There's nothing more frustrating for a coach than watching someone squander their natural talent. Nowadays I'm very coachable in whatever I pursue. I know how important it is to have an open mind and listen to those who are further along than me. Or have an expertise I don't have. It's not always easy to be coachable. Sometimes my ego creeps in and tells me I know more than the coach. But I've learned how to let go of it...as long as I believe I've selected the right coach. In The Collective (my mastermind group) I'm the coach. Sometimes my coaching style can come across as a bit blunt or even harsh because I'm brutally honest. Let me be clear...I'm never mean. I'm never critical or rude about helping. I just tell the truth in the most loving way I can. I say things that people are afraid to say. That's what you want in a coach. You want someone who's willing to tell you the things that other people are too afraid to say. On yesterday's Collective call I gave some "blunt" advice. And the guy in the group took it really well. That's how I know he's the right fit for the group. He's coachable. If you're coachable and you want to join a bunch of high level marketers, copywriters, and business owners in the Collective...check it out. Here's a replay of yesterday's coaching call: [ Click here to watch the replay]( I'm gonna tell you a couple stories about coaches that have changed my life over the next couple of days. Talk soon, Ian "be coachable" Stanley P.S. The offer I'm making for The Collective right now is crazy. You get over $40,000 worth of value when you join. You have until Sunday night to get this special deal...or until 50 people have joined. Whichever comes first. I made a Google Doc to tell you about it. [ Click here to see the stupidest offer I've ever made]( P.P.S. I'm gonna keep talking about The Collective until Sunday night.
