Most businesses and influencers SUCK at writing emails. I’m sure you’d agree. I mean how often are you EXCITED to get an email from a business you’ve bought something from? Probably never. (Except me of course ;) ) The thing is, email is the most profitable channel online…when it’s done right. Which it rarely is… That’s why business happily pay writers anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000 a month to write emails for them. And they pay you month after month because they always need more emails. That’s why it’s such a stable way to earn a living without having to have a boss or work for someone else. Even a total beginner can get paid $50 an email with no experience. In the beginning it’ll likely take you around 30 minutes to write an email. (If you learn my method of writing emails quickly. It only takes me about 7 to 12 minutes to write an email…but it’ll take you a little to write that fast.) So if you write 2 emails an hour that’s $100 an hour right off the bat. If you worked full-time that would be $200,000 per year in income. But let’s be real…it’s unlikely you’ll write for more than a few hours per day. So at 4 hours per day you’d be making $100,000 per year. Once you raise your rates to $100 an email you’d be at $200,000 per year if you only worked 4 hours per day, 5 days a week. Or you’d be at $100,000 per year if you worked 2 hours a day. At that point you get to decide what you want… Do a bit more work to make more…or work less and be happy with all your time freedom. Or maybe you just want to work an extra hour a day on the side. In that case you’d make an additional $3,000 a month. The choice is yours. That’s what true freedom is. Maybe you wanna work 2 hours a day. Maybe you wanna work full-time. Or maybe you just wanna work 3 days a week and be happy with $100,000 per year. It’s up to YOU. Once you understand how to earn your first $100…you can learn how to scale that up to six figures per year and beyond. I've put together an exercise you can do to show you exactly how you can earn your first $100. So here’s the exercise: I want you to write two emails. I’m gonna give you a prompt to write an email that gets someone to check out a product. And I’ll have you write one using one of my fill-in-the-blanks templates. So all you have to do is fill in the parts in bold. We’ll start with the template so you can get some momentum. Then I’ll have you write your own. Set a timer and see how long it takes you. This will give you an indicator of how much you can earn an hour from the beginning. (You’ll get faster at writing and be able to charge more as you get better.) I put together a google doc with the prompts and little video explaining exactly how to do it in case you’re confused. I HIGHLY recommend you watch the short video first.
