I’ve pretty much completely avoided talking about AI over the past couple of years. All I’ve really ever said publicly is this: “No computer or AI will ever be able to replicate my unique background, stories, DNA, upbringing, books I’ve read, way of thinking, etc. So I’m not worried about it replacing writers. The uniqueness of each human cannot be replaced by AI.” And I was right about that. But I was wrong about my understanding of AI. I’ve kind of treated it like an old angry bastard that doesn’t want technology to change his life. And frankly I’ve been a little afraid to dive down the rabbit hole so I’ve just ignored it altogether. Then a buddy of mine Sean Vosler reached out to me a couple months ago something called Jasper. I had heard about it and seen a bunch of ads but ignored it. I even personally know the founders and I still ignored it. I did a comedy show at their office and I still buried my head in the sand about AI. But Sean piqued my curiosity so I finally decided I was interested enough to test it out. Then I didn’t because I had a lot going on. And then about a month after he reached out, ChatGPT came out and seemingly took over the world. On Monday night of this week I finally decided to login to my Jasper account and check out ChatGPT as well. That’s when it really clicked for me… It’s not about REPLACING humans…it’s about humans using AI to be better at what we do. And it’s all about the HUMAN giving the prompt to the AI. I started playing around with ChatGPT the other night and I was shocked…and amazed. It’s wild what it can do. But it is NOT going to write your copy for you. (At least not good copy. It can spit out mediocre/solid copy quite easily.) And it is NOT going to replace writers. In fact, I think it’s gonna make writers and creatives even more valuable in the new economy. I know everyone and their mother has been talking about AI lately so you may be tired of hearing about it. But I’ve never talked about it so too bad haha. I see AI like ChatGPT as a Creativity Engine. It’s the coolest tool I’ve ever seen to give you ideas. And I see Jasper as a way to actually write effective copy and scripts with AI. (Which is probably why it costs money and ChatGPT is free.) I don’t wanna go off recommending Jasper yet because I haven’t gotten to properly play around with it yet and I never recommend things I don’t believe in. But the owners gave me a link that gives you 10,000 free credits so feel free to play around with it in the meantime. ([Use this link to claim the deal.]( However, the real reason I’m talking about this is because I want to dive a little deeper into this on tomorrow’s “One Not-So-Weird Trick to Become a World Class Copywriter” training. I just wanna spend about 5-10 minutes talking about how I believe AI will affect copywriting because it’s such a hot topic right now that I think it’s worth diving into. (I promise not to make the whole call about AI. I’d rather go to the DMV than derail the main point of our training.) So if you’re interested in becoming a world class copywriter who can charge ridiculous fees (for sales letter OR emails) show up tomorrow. The call is at 11am pacific time. 2pm eastern. And the call WILL fill up so try to show up a few minutes early. We have the most people registered I’ve ever [ One Not-So-Weird Trick to Become a World Class Copywriter]( See you on the training. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
