When I was 21 years old I spent a month in Brazil during the summer between junior and senior year of college. It was during this month that I made my first $1,000 online. You never forget your first. A dude named Jordan Hall took my "first client virginity." And I think there's a lesson for you in this story... I was living in a little area called Ipanema right next to the beach in Rio De Janeiro. I lived with two weird foreigners I had never met before. One of them was a DJ (not a good one). The other one spent most of his time watching Two and a Half Men when he wasn't at work. I was down there to train and play tennis. I played a couple hours a day and the rest of my time was spent drinking and going out. People PARTY in Brazil so at least 3-5 times a week I was getting home when the sun was coming up. Each night I'd pack my pockets full of beer cans and hit the town. (You can drink anywhere there and I was broke so I just drank beers around town until I got to my destination haha.) When I was at my little apartment I had four options of activities to participate in. 1. Watch Two and Half Men with my weird roommate. I did this from time to time because they had Portuguese subtitles on and it helped me learn the language. (Charlie Sheen version, not Ashton Kutcher. In my opinion the show is meh.) 2. Play World of Warcraft. Really? Go to Brazil to play WoW? Yeah, I didn't go crazy on it, but it was a fun thing to do for a bit. 3. Watch SouthPark. These were the days when it was hard to find shows or movies. Netflix was mainly slinging DVDs and there weren't many streaming services. I found a site that I could access from Brazil to watch all the SouthPark episodes so that's what I did when I was tired from all the partying haha. 4. Work on my online business. This is the part of the story that's relevant to you... See, at this point I had written a book about dating during my junior year. I had bought every product under the sun with hopes of "getting rich on the internet." At this point I still thought I was gonna join the military out of college but I had been chasing my goal of making "internet money" for two years and wanted to succeed. During my junior year I bought a product by a guy named Jordan Hall. One of his upsells was coaching with him. It was SUPER expensive to me at the time. It was like $197. But I bought it anyways. And thank God I did. That single decision changed the course of my entire life. On our first call Jordan told me to get good at email copywriting. He said I could 4x my conversions if I got really good at it. The only problem was I didn't really have any conversions. And four times zero is zero. I kept trying to sell stuff online with no success... Then while I was in Brazil I got a message from Jordan Hall. He knew I had been studying email copywriting and asked if I would write a sequence for him. He was willing to pay me. I said yes immediately. The deal was I had to write 150 emails for...drumroll please...$500. That's $3.33 an email. Not exactly "big money." But I agreed anyways. It was one of the best decisions I ever made for a few reasons. 1. I learned how to write quickly. 2. I learned how to create templates. There was no way I was writing all 150 from scratch. So I got creative and figured how to do more work in less time. Now my templates have made me hundreds of thousands of dollars. 3. This is most important one...I got PAID. I learned that I could actually make money by typing words on my laptop from Brazil. (Or anywhere else in the world.) Sure, it was only $500...but that a LOT to me then. And it made everything REAL. Now I charge $1500 per email if I write for other people. So even though I started at a mere $3.33 an email...I turned that into WAY more money over time. It took me about a week to do all the emails I was stoked. Jordan loved my work so he referred me to his buddy Alen Sultanic. Alen offered me $600 to write something like 100 emails. I said yes. Â Â I had already doubled my rate by accident. Now I was making a whopping $6 per email. And I couldn't have been more excited. I was 21 years old, partying in Brazil and I made $1100 in two weeks just by typing. After my trip to Brazil I spent the next year trying to sell affiliate products and my own products online with little success. Then after college (after another year of little success) I finally realized I should just get paid to write emails. That led me to gig making $3,500 a month. That gig turned into $5,000 a month. Then I got a job that made me $110,000 in a year...all writing copy. It all started with that FIRST $1,000. If you can make $1,000 once, you can do it every month. If you can do $1,000 a month, you can do $5,000 a month. And then six figures a year. All from anywhere in the world. If you'd like to do that for yourself... You should get the "Get Your First Client" course. The course is pay what you want. You can pay $500 or $1...or anything in between...it's up to you. Tomorrow (Sunday) is the last day it'll be available. And there's still a prize up for grabs today...whoever pays the MOST today can choose between two prizes... 1. A 15 minute phone call with me. (I charge $2,000 an hour for consulting so it's a $500 value.) 2. The [8020 Email Copy Crash Course]( Advanced for free. This is a $497 product. If you wanna learn how I would get my first ever email copywriting client if I was starting from scratch and no one knew my name... Buy the course... Here's the link to grab the course...
