But this is ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ â€

But this is ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ It’s not an impressive act to react joyfully to a full bank account. But it is an impressive act to react joyfully to an empty bank account. I know that may sound really weird so let me explain... Let’s talk about abundance. It’s a word that’s gets thrown around like a football in a frat house. Abundance is the belief that there is a LOT of something. Or that something is infinite. That it has no limits. Its opposite is scarcity. The belief that something is limited. That there is a finite amount of it. You can be abundant about anything or scarce about anything. Money. Friendships. Sex. Shark attacks. Let’s focus on money because my shark attack knowledge is limited. (Thankfully.) See, your beliefs create your reality, whether you want them to or not. This is the tricky part. If you don’t have much money then how can you be abundant about it? And if you’re not abundant about it then how can you obtain a lot of it? Well, abundance is not a thing you get to have when you already have money. It’s a thing you have to have in the face of scarcity. Abundance is not impressive when you HAVE lots of whatever it is you want to have lots of. Abundance is impressive when you DON’T have what you want and you choose to believe the opposite of what reality is showing you at this exact moment. If you can stay abundant in the face of scarcity then it shows your beliefs are immovable. I’ve had periods of time where I’ve had lots of money and felt scarce. I’ve also had periods of time when I didn’t have much money and felt abundant. Scarcity and abundance aren’t based on numbers. They’re based on beliefs. It’s been a LONG time since I’ve felt scarce. A few of years ago I didn’t have a lot of cash. I owned a cabin and purchased another house and was cash poor. But at no point did I feel scarcity. I maintained abundance throughout the entire process, despite having less dollars and commas in my bank account than I’d had in a LONG time. I felt little pangs of scarcity attempt to creep their way into my psyche. But I didn’t entertain them. I knew that abundance in the face of evidence of the opposite was the greatest challenge I could succeed at around money. So I did my money meditations. I chose to believe that becoming "cash rich" again was inevitable. And it was. I don’t tell you any of this to brag or try to make you think I’m rich. I tell you this because I want to emphasize how little numbers matter in your relationship to money. I used to own a business with a therapist where we helped people worked through their deep mental and emotional blocks. We had people come to our workshops who had businesses making tens of millions of dollars per year. Millions in the bank. And they were CONSTANTLY worried about money. That’s no way to live. Right now I'm spending a rather immense sum of money on some different things and it had some scarcity creeping into my psyche...but I'm using this as an opportunity to be more abundant. I'll explain tomorrow. That’s all for today. Talk soon, Ian "stay firmly rooted in abundance no matter what" Stanley P.S. I did a training called [Reality Engineering 1.0]( that’ll help you improve your relationship to abundance. And [Reality Engineering 2.0](. They're both Pay What You Want so you can pay $100 or $1.
