I believe it can ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

I believe it can ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Can one hour per day change your life? I’m a firm believer that you change your life in just one hour a day. And I believe it applies in multiple areas of life. If you work out one hour per day you can change your body. If you practice a language for an hour a day, you can become fluent. If you practice a sport for an hour a day, you can at least get decent at it. But this email isn't about those things...it's about writing. I recently read a book by Steven Pressfield called "Put Your Ass Where Your Heart Wants to Be." Weird title, I know. But it’s a fantastic book. One part in particular really stood out me. It’s a story about one of the richest writers on earth…and how he built his fortune in just two hours per day…while he had a full-time job.  Instead of paraphrasing the story I’m just gonna copy it here for you. "Can we put our ass where our heart wants to be (aka achieve the success you want) if we’ve got a family, a job, a mortgage? Yes. The Muse does not count hours. She counts commitment. It is possible to be one hundred percent committed ten percent of the time. The goddess understands. James Patterson was creative director of J. Walter Thompson, the mega-ad agency of the fifties and sixties. His dream was to be a writer of fiction. He would come into the office every morning at six. He’d close his door and lock it. For two hours, he wrote fiction. When the advertising day started, he opened his door and became a regulation Mad Man. As of 2022, James Patterson’s books have sold three hundred million copies. One hour a day is seven hours a week, thirty hours a month, 365 hours a year. Three hundred and sixty hours is nine forty-hour workweeks. Nine forty-hour workweeks is a novel. It’s two screen plays, maybe three. In ten years, that’s ten novels or twenty movie scripts. You can be a full-time writer, one hour a day." I thought that story was amazing. James Patterson made a commitment and it paid off. BIG TIME. The dude is worth close to a BILLION dollars now. I’m not saying you have to commit two hours a day to learning copy. Or even an hour a day. Even just 10 to 20 minutes a day of hand copying can change your life. That’s why I’m such a big fan of CopyHour.
