As you recall, after the war broke out, more than 125,000 people were evacuated from over 100 border communities. Now, as the situation along the Gaza border shows some signs of stability, a portion of these evacuees is starting to return home. For instance, reduced conflict in the northern Gaza Strip and the reopening of key roads, like the one connecting Sderot to Ashkelon, indicating steps towards normalcy. In areas like Reâim, new armored shelters near bus stops are there to better protect civilians. However, this progress does not diminish the enormity of the challenges that remain for the people of Israel, particularly the evacuees. Despite government efforts to reconstruct communities and fortify defenses, the majority of evacuees are still displaced, uncertain of when they can return home. After months in temporary accommodations, they face the daunting task of rebuilding their lives amidst ongoing threats, particularly from Hezbollah in the North. This struggle is intensified for families with members called to military service, adding emotional and logistical burdens. With limited government funding available, many evacuees, unable to return to work, are in dire need of basic necessities and support in these challenging times. Amidst these tumultuous times, Feed Israel has been actively involved in providing crucial assistance to the evacuees. Our efforts are focused on addressing their most immediate needs - from daily food distributions to essential supplies. Our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that those affected by the conflict receive the support they need to face these challenging times. [DONATE NOW]( Your generosity is a beacon of hope for many families and children in Israel. Together, we can make a real difference in their lives, alleviating poverty and creating a brighter future. We hope and pray for a peaceful times ahead. Thank you for your support, â [sig]( David Segal
