As we await further details, I'd like to bring your attention to an important issue that occurred yesterday, one that hasn't received much attention... For the past several weeks, we've been sharing with you updates on our work with families displaced within Israel. Our volunteers have been visiting hotels, now temporary shelters for those who can't safely stay in their homes. While staying in a hotel might seem comfortable at first glance, the reality is far from it. The prolonged displacement has brought immense challenges and misery to many families, abruptly torn from their normal lives. A heart-wrenching incident yesterday highlights the severity of this situation. In a tragic event at Dan Panorama Hotel in Tel Aviv, a woman in her fifties took her own life, an undeniably indicative incident of the immense strain and emotional turmoil that displaced individuals are enduring. Most hotels in Israel, including Dan Panorama, have been offering shelter to evacuees from communities near the Gaza Strip and border towns affected by the war. These hotels have opened their doors to provide a safe haven and some comfort to those uprooted by the conflict. But the offer of physical shelter can only go so far in mitigating the deep emotional and psychological impact these individuals are experiencing. [img]( Now with the war back in full swing, Feed Israel's involvement has become even more indispensable. Our volunteers have been deeply immersed in visiting hotels that now serve as temporary homes for evacuated families. At these locations, we're not just providing meals; we're offering a helping hand, a kind word, and much-needed psychological support. Each interaction is a chance to bring comfort and encouragement, to share a moment of understanding, and to offer practical assistance in navigating their new reality. Your donation is crucial, enabling us to sustain and expand this vital support, offering not just nourishment, but also hope and a return to normalcy during these challenging times. [DONATE NOW]( Thank you for standing with us, and with the people of Israel, in these challenging times. Your generosity is a beacon of hope and comfort to those in dire need.
