Take part and win the supporter’s kit for the Copa del Rey Final [Web version]( [FC BARCELONA CULERS] [FC BARCELONA CULERS] HEY, CULER! I don’t remember the first Clásico I saw, but I can totally tell you what the first Clásico I remember is. That’s the 3-0 win at the Bernabéu when the Madrid fans applauded Ronaldinho. I remember watching the game at the supporters’ club where we used to watch all the away matches. The pre-game nerves soon gave way to one of the first feelings of true elation that I remember as a Barça fan. Scoring three goals against Madrid, and at their ground, and playing such awesome football… It’s like Christmas, New Year or Sant Jordi. It’s a red letter day. It’s magic. When there are just a few days to go before a Clásico, you start analysing what kind of form the teams are in. Throughout the build-up, I watch all the sports news and even look at old games. This year the team have done a lot of things, but most of all they’ve shown that they keep fighting until the very last minute! We’re strong both physically and mentally. This is a Clásico, and judging by the way the table looks right now, this game is going to be more decisive than ever. I’m sure we can win this one! gif mood We’ve been treated to some absolute beauties in recent years. But if I had to pick one Clásico above all others, I think I’d go for the 5-0 win in 2010 against José Mourinho. It was a Monday night and pouring with rain, but I was at the ground and enjoyed one of the best games I’ve ever seen. I’d go back a thousand times again. [RRSS]( [Clásico 2018]( [Semifinales Copa]( [Champions]( But I’d like to mention two other Clásicos. There was the 5-1 win in 2018, an unforgettable match that made me very happy; and the 3-0 win at the Bernabéu in the Copa del Rey semi-final just a month later. I’m sure this weekend’s game will be another one to remember. I’m going for a 3-0 win with more than one of the goals scored by Messi. Yes, Leo Messi! A lot of players have played a starring role in Clásicos over the years, but if you ask me who the greatest player in the history of Clásicos is, I don’t think we need to look any further... He’s the Barça player who has appeared in the game the most times (44), and who has the most goals against Real Madrid (26), including that work of art in the 2011 Champions League semi-final… He will always make the difference. Together with other Barça fans, we’ll pass the time in the build-up commenting on possible line-ups, exchanging memes and making predictions. As for Madrid fans, may the best team win! My best friend is an Espanyol supporter, and I’ll call her and go through our usual ritual whenever there’s a big game and that always brings us luck. And if I can, I’ll try to find a moment before the game starts to make a video call to my family to feel closer to them at such a special time, despite the distance and this awful situation right now that means we can’t share special moments like watching a football match together.
