Good morning!
Today we’re proud to announce the winners of our [World Changing Ideas Awards from 2019](. Every year, we pick the most groundbreaking and impactful companies, organizations, and projects and honor them for the work they’re doing.
We received nearly 2,000 entries and came up with a list of more than 500 amazing finalists. From those lists, we picked 17 winners--in categories including food, energy, social justice, and health. Our winners include [a tool]( that brings remote assistance to people who are blind, and [a giant tower]( that stores energy using cranes and 35-ton bricks. There’s [a promising technology]( to turn wood into fabric and [a simple way]( to convert gasoline-powered trucks to run on electricity. And much more.
It’s heartening to see so much ingenuity going into making the world a more equitable and sustainable place, and we’re honored to be able to showcase them.
