That means we have to find our bargains where…? The wide receiver position? Is there enough value to be had so that we can build zero-fat cash lineups? It's not going to be as easy. In fact, it might be easier to build winning GPP lineups this week. But I don't want to scare you. If it isn't Mahomes or Tua, it's Fields. We've been talking about the strides he has made over the past several weeks and it certainly shined bright in Week 9 as he threw for three touchdowns and rushed for 178 yards and another score. The Bears may have dished off their defense at the trade deadline, but they have boosted their offense with Chase Claypool and suddenly this group looks like it can put up points on anyone. Fortunately they only need to best the Lions who rank near the bottom in DVOA against both the run and the pass. Detroit is actually allowing an average of 268.5 passing yards with 13 touchdowns and they also blitz at the second-highest rate in the league which tells me Fields is going to be able to get the job done both with his legs and his arm once again. I don't love it, but I like it. First of all, we can look to the ownership percentages throughout the week and expectations are that Pierce, because of his continued high usage rate, is going to be locked into most people's lineups. The price on FanDuel is good, but the price on DK is even better. The Giants have only allowed five rushing touchdowns on the year, but they've given up 137.3 rushing yards per game this season and if you isolate their last three games, that number has jumped to close to 150 rushing yards per game. The Giants have played in competitive games all year and the Texans, under Lovie Smith, have been feisty and better-than-advertised. There are a small handful of players I wll pair with Barkley this week and Pierce is one of them. The Dolphins rank 31st in DVOA against the pass and they've given up 15 touchdowns through the air this season. If the Browns are going to keep pace with Miami, then Brissett is going to have to throw the ball a little more than usual and there is nothing wrong with that. Don't worry about Xavien Howard on Cooper in this game as Howard really isn't that great of a cover-corner anymore. If we can afford to use him, he's the No.1 receiver on this team and should be treated as such.
