Are you ready for your NFL Week 5 DFS picks? Are you? If your answer is yes, then you need to do me a favor and put everything from last week behind you. ~/AAAHagA~/RgRlJCxAP0RuaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9hcnRpY2xlcy9uZmwvcGxheWJvb2svbmZsLWRmcy13ZWVrLTUtcGxheWJvb2stdG9wLWRyYWZ0a2luZ3MtZmFuZHVlbC1waWNrcy8xMzUwMzZXBXNwY2V1QgpjPUCnQWOsw9ZfUht0cmlzdHJhbWJhbGR3aW45MkBnbWFpbC5jb21YBAAAAUQ~ NFL DFS Week 5 Playbook Are you ready for your NFL Week 5 DFS picks? Are you? If your answer is yes, then you need to do me a favor and put everything from last week behind you. Gone. It doesn't matter. That's the beauty of daily fantasy football, right? That your performance the week before has absolutely no bearing on what you do this week. So forget about the fact that we lost in our cash games last week. And forget about your GPP tournament winnings too. If you're throwing out the bad, you also have to throw out the good. We get a fresh start here in Week 5 and that's where we are at. We have a massive [NFL Injury Report](~/AAAHagA~/RgRlJCxAP0Q3aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9hcnRpY2xlcy9uZmwvaW5qdXJ5LXJlcG9ydFcFc3BjZXVCCmM9QKdBY6zD1l9SG3RyaXN0cmFtYmFsZHdpbjkyQGdtYWlsLmNvbVgEAAABRA~~) to go over this week and make sure we are finding the best DFS value plays to go along with those high-priced chalk plays we are anxious to squeeze into our lineups. I've been buried in all of our content, all of the NFL news and have been working on a number of lineups using ONLY the players here in the [DFS Playbook](~/AAAHagA~/RgRlJCxAP0Q2aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9hcnRpY2xlcy9uZmwvZGZzL3BsYXlib29rVwVzcGNldUIKYz1Ap0FjrMPWX1IbdHJpc3RyYW1iYWxkd2luOTJAZ21haWwuY29tWAQAAAFE). I'll be working a few GPP lineups as well once I finalize the [DFS Dart Board](~/AAAHagA~/RgRlJCxAP0Q4aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9hcnRpY2xlcy9uZmwvZGZzL2RhcnQtYm9hcmRXBXNwY2V1QgpjPUCnQWOsw9ZfUht0cmlzdHJhbWJhbGR3aW45MkBnbWFpbC5jb21YBAAAAUQ~), but for your cash game play, if you stick to the Playbook and stick to the process, everything else should be cream cheese. QB - Josh Allen When a game has a 14-point spread, I'm always worried that the favored team runs heavily and we're wasting our time using their QB in DFS. However, these are the Bills we are talking about and, if you recall, back when they were destroying the Titans 41-7 back in Week 2, the Bills were still very much throwing well into the third quarter and Allen was still running for first downs like the game was on the line. If they're going to win this one by two touchdowns then it's because they've built another insurmountable lead and to do that, Allen will be throwing heavily whether Minkah Fitzpatrick is there or not. The Steelers have allowed 251.8 passing yards per game with seven touchdowns through the air and while they've had their shining moments, the Bills defense is going to be all over Kenny Pickett and we are likely to see a lot of three-and-outs. That puts the Steelers defense on the field for way too long. It was a tough game in the rain for Robinson last week, but, fortunately, he's got the cure for what ails all running backs – the Houston Texans. Just ask Austin Ekeler who finally broke out against these very same Texans. Houston is allowing the second-most rushing yards per game (172) and they've given up five rushing touchdowns as well. We've seen Robinson dominate before, so this match-up should prove to be one in which we heavily invest. Since Samuel works as both a running back and a receiver AND he's priced down as a mid-tier guy on FanDuel, he's definitely in-play for all DFS contests this week. He's been dynamic on both fronts and his ability to rack up yards after the catch and after contact have been a huge boost to those who have him in their lineups. Looks for another strong effort this week.
