Some teams, like the Buffalo Bills, lay it all out there for us. We know who their dominant players are and we have a strong sense of their weekly plan of attack. Some, like the Minnesota Vikings, have had one good game and one bad one, but have shown us enough to identify where things went wrong for them and how best we can avoid those down games for our DFS lineups. The second thing I love most about playing DFS this week is that we are still early enough in the season where the mainstream players – the menacing herd, if you will – are still overreacting to things they haven't even really studied or dissected. You think they really know whether [Zamir White](~/AAAHagA~/RgRlEdU2P0Q7aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9uZmwvcGxheWVycy8zMTAwNTAvWmFtaXItV2hpdGVXBXNwY2V1QgpjIzZQL2NSXl6VUht0cmlzdHJhbWJhbGR3aW45MkBnbWFpbC5jb21YBAAAAUQ~) is worth using in their lineups? That means we can avoid the bad chalk, beat the players who live and die by their [DFS lineup optimizers](~/AAAHagA~/RgRlEdU2P0QqaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9uZmwvZ2VuZXJhdG9yVwVzcGNldUIKYyM2UC9jUl5elVIbdHJpc3RyYW1iYWxkd2luOTJAZ21haWwuY29tWAQAAAFE) and [DFS compare tools](~/AAAHagA~/RgRlEdU2P0QoaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9uZmwvY29tcGFyZVcFc3BjZXVCCmMjNlAvY1JeXpVSG3RyaXN0cmFtYmFsZHdpbjkyQGdtYWlsLmNvbVgEAAABRA~~) and watch our lineups cash in every contest we play. We can use these [NFL DFS tools](~/AAAHagA~/RgRlEdU2P0QqaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9uZmwvZGZzL3Rvb2xzVwVzcGNldUIKYyM2UC9jUl5elVIbdHJpc3RyYW1iYWxkd2luOTJAZ21haWwuY29tWAQAAAFE) to help us as we set out to construct NFL DFS winning lineups, but we don't use them as a crutch or a replacement for good, old-fashioned hard work. That's who wins – the people who put in the time and effort. The people who don't take shortcuts. People like [Millionaire Mike](~/AAAHagA~/RgRlEdU2P0R_aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9hcnRpY2xlcy9Ib3dhcmRCZW5kZXIvMTE0MzE2L2ZhbnRhc3ktYWxhcm0tc2hvdy1saWZldGltZS1tZW1iZXItbWlsbGlvbmFpcmUtbWlrZS10YWxrcy1mYW5kdWVsLXdpblcFc3BjZXVCCmMjNlAvY1JeXpVSG3RyaXN0cmFtYmFsZHdpbjkyQGdtYWlsLmNvbVgEAAABRA~~), Bob Boris and the long list of six-figure winners we've had here at Fantasy Alarm over the years. So if you're ready to put in the work, we're ready to help you win – real money for real people. QB - Jalen Hurts Tough to argue against Hurts right now, isn't it? The rushing yards and rushing touchdowns are huge for him as they keep his floor nice and high. If he can catch up with the passing and maintain a solid 250-yard baseline with a touchdown…maybe even two…we'll be in the perfect spot. The Commanders pass defense has been abused by the passing attacks of the Lions and Jaguars over these first two weeks and their job doesn't get any easier as Hurts is loving his new BFF A.J. Brown. Expect another strong effort against a weak secondary this week. While I don't expect Mixon to run as rampant over the Jets as we saw Nick Chubb do last week, the Bengals ground game should be front-and-center in this week's game-plan. Joe Burrow is struggling to get the ball out of his hands quicker, the offensive line's pass-blocking has been suspect and the defending AFC champions are in serious need of a get-right game. To do that, Zac Taylor is going to have to call Mixon's number more than usual. New York is allowing an average of 123 rushing yards per game and they've coughed up three rushing touchdowns thus far. The Bengals usually use the pass to set up the run, but something tells me their success this week is predicated on doing the opposite and letting Mixon do his thing. If you're going to pay up, then why not just pay up for Kupp, right? That is exactly what I am hoping for and the exact reason I am going to be hellbent in finding quality value options on this slate. The ownership will not be what it should be and for that, hopefully we can sneak him past the menacing herd. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
