Week 1 has come and gone which means Week 2 is here and with it comes the first real waiver wire period of the 2022 fantasy football season! We will have a full waiver wire write up over on Fantasy Alarm complete with FAAB bid recommendations so be sure to check that out but for now here is a sneak peak at some of the top players that will be looked at on the waiver wire for Week 2. ~/AAAHagA~/RgRlAwr5P0QdaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9XBXNwY2V1QgpjGPmFIGO_BCo5Uht0cmlzdHJhbWJhbGR3aW45MkBnbWFpbC5jb21YBAAAAUQ~ September 13, 2022 ~/AAAHagA~/RgRlAwr5P0QdaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9XBXNwY2V1QgpjGPmFIGO_BCo5Uht0cmlzdHJhbWJhbGR3aW45MkBnbWFpbC5jb21YBAAAAUQ~ September 13, 2022 ~/AAAHagA~/RgRlAwr5P0QdaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9XBXNwY2V1QgpjGPmFIGO_BCo5Uht0cmlzdHJhbWJhbGR3aW45MkBnbWFpbC5jb21YBAAAAUQ~ Week 2 Waiver Wire Sneak Peak Jon Impemba [Follow on Twitter](~/AAAHagA~/RgRlAwr5P0QfaHR0cHM6Ly90d2l0dGVyLmNvbS9qaW1wZW1iYTc3N1cFc3BjZXVCCmMY-YUgY78EKjlSG3RyaXN0cmFtYmFsZHdpbjkyQGdtYWlsLmNvbVgEAAABRA~~) ~/AAAHagA~/RgRlAwr5P0QdaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9XBXNwY2V1QgpjGPmFIGO_BCo5Uht0cmlzdHJhbWJhbGR3aW45MkBnbWFpbC5jb21YBAAAAUQ~ Week 1 has come and gone which means Week 2 is here and with it comes the first real waiver wire period of the 2022 fantasy football season! We will have a full waiver wire write up over on Fantasy Alarm complete with FAAB bid recommendations so be sure to check that out but for now here is a sneak peak at some of the top players that will be looked at on the waiver wire for Week 2. Keenan Allen's Injury Opens the Door In Los Angeles Allen left the Chargers Week 1 game against the Raiders with a hamstring injury and his status for Thursday's game against the Chiefs is currently up in the air. Given the quick turnaround it would seem tough for Allen's hamstring to fully recover in time to be active for the Thursday night game. With that assumption there are two Chargers that I would be willing to take a look at on the waiver wire this week, both are less than 40% rostered across most standard league formats. The first, and most obvious choice is that of second-year man Joshua Palmer. Palmer didn't have a great Week 1, finishing with just three catches on four targets for five yards but we saw him be much more productive when called upon to do so last season as a rookie. The other is tight end Gerald Everett who caught three of his four targets for 54 yards and a touchdown. Thursday's game against the Chiefs figures to be a high scoring affair and Everett is a tight end that is more than capable of making plays in the passing game. ~/AAAHagA~/RgRlAwr5P0T7aHR0cHM6Ly9ka3NiLnNuZy5saW5rL0FzOWt6L21kdng_X2RsPWh0dHBzJTNBJTJGJTJGc3BvcnRzYm9vay5kcmFmdGtpbmdzLmNvbSUyRmdhdGV3YXklM0ZzJTNENzI1NDEwNzc4JTI2d3BjaWQlM0QyMTUzNDclMjZ3cGNuJTNEQmV0NUdldDIwMCUyNndwc3JjJTNEUGlja3N3aXNlJTI2d3BjcmlkJTNEJTI2d3BzY24lM0RGYW50YXN5QWxhcm0mcGNpZD0yMTUzNDcmcHNuPVBpY2tzd2lzZSZwY249TkZMQmV0NVdpbjIwMF9GYW50YXN5QWxhcm1XBXNwY2V1QgpjGPmFIGO_BCo5Uht0cmlzdHJhbWJhbGR3aW45MkBnbWFpbC5jb21YBAAAAUQ~ Bet $5, win $200 Instantly on NFL or CFB [Claim offer >](~/AAAHagA~/RgRlAwr5P0RiaHR0cDovL3dsZmFuZHVlbC5hZHNydi5lYWNkbi5jb20vQy5hc2h4P2J0YWc9YV8yMzQ2NGJfMjQzNmNfJmFmZmlkPTExODc3JnNpdGVpZD0yMzQ2NCZhZGlkPTI0MzYmYz1XBXNwY2V1QgpjGPmFIGO_BCo5Uht0cmlzdHJhbWJhbGR3aW45MkBnbWFpbC5jb21YBAAAAUQ~) ~/AAAHagA~/RgRlAwr5P0RkaHR0cHM6Ly93bHdpbGxpYW1oaWxsdXMuYWRzcnYuZWFjZG4uY29tL0MuYXNoeD9idGFnPWFfNjMyMmJfMjM3M2NfJmFmZmlkPTg3JnNpdGVpZD02MzIyJmFkaWQ9MjM3MyZjPVcFc3BjZXVCCmMY-YUgY78EKjlSG3RyaXN0cmFtYmFsZHdpbjkyQGdtYWlsLmNvbVgEAAABRA~~ Up To $1,250 Back on Your First Bet with code: [FULLFA](~/AAAHagA~/RgRlAwr5P0RkaHR0cHM6Ly93bHdpbGxpYW1oaWxsdXMuYWRzcnYuZWFjZG4uY29tL0MuYXNoeD9idGFnPWFfNjMyMmJfMjM3M2NfJmFmZmlkPTg3JnNpdGVpZD02MzIyJmFkaWQ9MjM3MyZjPVcFc3BjZXVCCmMY-YUgY78EKjlSG3RyaXN0cmFtYmFsZHdpbjkyQGdtYWlsLmNvbVgEAAABRA~~) [Claim offer >](~/AAAHagA~/RgRlAwr5P0RkaHR0cHM6Ly93bHdpbGxpYW1oaWxsdXMuYWRzcnYuZWFjZG4uY29tL0MuYXNoeD9idGFnPWFfNjMyMmJfMjM3M2NfJmFmZmlkPTg3JnNpdGVpZD02MzIyJmFkaWQ9MjM3MyZjPVcFc3BjZXVCCmMY-YUgY78EKjlSG3RyaXN0cmFtYmFsZHdpbjkyQGdtYWlsLmNvbVgEAAABRA~~) Houston We Have a Problem? Well, the problem after Week 1 is really for those who drafted Dameon Pierce. The rookie running back was out snapped by Rex Burkhead at a 70/30 clip in Week 1 as he finished with just 11 carries for 33 yards and one catch for six yards. Which brings me to Burkhead, we knew going into the season he was going to have a role as the team's third-down back but nobody foresaw him leading the team with 14 carries for 40 yards to go along with five catches for 30 yards. While Texans coach Lovie Smith said they will look to work Pierce into the offense better moving forward, those looking for some running back help should be looking to Burkhead this week as it is pretty clear he has a role in this team's offense. Sterling Shepard Makes a Week 1 Impact So, I [wrote a longer article](~/AAAHagA~/RgRlAwr5P0SnaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9hcnRpY2xlcy9uZmwvZmFudGFzeS1mb290YmFsbC13YWl2ZXItd2lyZS9mYW50YXN5LWZvb3RiYWxsLXdlZWstMi13YWl2ZXItd2lyZS1zcG90bGlnaHQtc3Rlcmxpbmctc2hlcGFyZC1tYWtlcy1zb21lLW5vaXNlLWluLXdlZWstMS8xMzM0MzdXBXNwY2V1QgpjGPmFIGO_BCo5Uht0cmlzdHJhbWJhbGR3aW45MkBnbWFpbC5jb21YBAAAAUQ~) on this already on Monday, I suggest you go ahead and check it out, but the short and sweet of it is this, the Giants do not have a true WR1 on their roster right now and when healthy Sterling Shepard has been a target monster for Daniel Jones. Shepard played 71% of the team's offensive snaps in his first action since tearing his achilles and he caught a 65-yard touchdown pass. I'd be willing to bet that snap count increases in Week 2 and he could be very well on his way to being the receiver that has averaged nearly eight targets a game when healthy over the past two seasons.   ~/AAAHagA~/RgRlAwr5P0SkaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9jaGVja291dC9tb250aGx5P3Byb21vY29kZT1uZmw1MCZ1dG1fc291cmNlPWVtYWlsJnV0bV9tZWRpdW09YnJhemUmdXRtX2NhbXBhaWduPW5ld19wcmljaW5nX2VtYWlsX21vcm5pbmdhbGFybV9icmF6ZSZ1dG1faWQ9bmV3X3ByaWNpbmdXBXNwY2V1QgpjGPmFIGO_BCo5Uht0cmlzdHJhbWJhbGR3aW45MkBnbWFpbC5jb21YBAAAAUQ~   Latest Features ~/AAAHagA~/RgRlAwr5P0SbaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9hcnRpY2xlcy9uZmwvc3RvY2std2F0Y2gvMjAyMi1mYW50YXN5LWZvb3RiYWxsLXN0b2NrLXdhdGNoLXdlZWstMi1yaXNlcnMtZmFsbGVycy1taWNoYWVsLXRob21hcy1zaGluZXMtaW4tc2FpbnRzLXJldHVybi8xMzM0NTFXBXNwY2V1QgpjGPmFIGO_BCo5Uht0cmlzdHJhbWJhbGR3aW45MkBnbWFpbC5jb21YBAAAAUQ~ Risers & Fallers: Michael Thomas Shines In Saints Return [Read more >](~/AAAHagA~/RgRlAwr5P0SbaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9hcnRpY2xlcy9uZmwvc3RvY2std2F0Y2gvMjAyMi1mYW50YXN5LWZvb3RiYWxsLXN0b2NrLXdhdGNoLXdlZWstMi1yaXNlcnMtZmFsbGVycy1taWNoYWVsLXRob21hcy1zaGluZXMtaW4tc2FpbnRzLXJldHVybi8xMzM0NTFXBXNwY2V1QgpjGPmFIGO_BCo5Uht0cmlzdHJhbWJhbGR3aW45MkBnbWFpbC5jb21YBAAAAUQ~) ~/AAAHagA~/RgRlAwr5P0SnaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9hcnRpY2xlcy9uZmwvZmFudGFzeS1mb290YmFsbC13YWl2ZXItd2lyZS9mYW50YXN5LWZvb3RiYWxsLXdlZWstMi13YWl2ZXItd2lyZS1zcG90bGlnaHQtc3Rlcmxpbmctc2hlcGFyZC1tYWtlcy1zb21lLW5vaXNlLWluLXdlZWstMS8xMzM0MzdXBXNwY2V1QgpjGPmFIGO_BCo5Uht0cmlzdHJhbWJhbGR3aW45MkBnbWFpbC5jb21YBAAAAUQ~ Waiver Wire Spotlight: Sterling Shepard Makes Some Noise in Week 1 [Read more >](~/AAAHagA~/RgRlAwr5P0SnaHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZmFudGFzeWFsYXJtLmNvbS9hcnRpY2xlcy9uZmwvZmFudGFzeS1mb290YmFsbC13YWl2ZXItd2lyZS9mYW50YXN5LWZvb3RiYWxsLXdlZWstMi13YWl2ZXItd2lyZS1zcG90bGlnaHQtc3Rlcmxpbmctc2hlcGFyZC1tYWtlcy1zb21lLW5vaXNlLWluLXdlZWstMS8xMzM0MzdXBXNwY2V1QgpjGPmFIGO_BCo5Uht0cmlzdHJhbWJhbGR3aW45MkBnbWFpbC5jb21YBAAAAUQ~)   Follow us on Twitter Questions?
