Kirk Cousins, MIN QB vs Green Bay Packers The Vikings have a new offensive system being put in place under new head coach Kevin O'Connell. Expectations are that this offense will be one that looks much like the offense we saw the Rams run last season with O’Connell being the team’s Offensive Coordinator last year. As we saw last season, the Rams had a powerful pass attack and the Vikings certainly have the receivers to run a pass heavy offense. Cousins is coming off yet another impressive season where he completed 66.3% of his passes for 4,221 yards and 33 touchdowns. In his one meeting against the Packers last season he lit them up for 334 yards and three touchdown passes. Cousins is set with a price tag that makes him a decent value option and will allow for you to build around him with some higher priced players. Christian McCaffrey, CAR RB vs Cleveland Browns This one is pretty simple. When healthy, CMC is the best running back in fantasy football. Regardless of the platform you are playing on there is a good chance that McCaffrey will never be as cheap as he is priced this week as he finds himself under $10,000 on both FanDuel and DraftKings and two years ago he never under that price point. Last season in the four games he played where he wasn’t hurt or just coming back from an injury he put up over 21 fantasy points in all four games all while only scoring one touchdown. McCaffrey is likely to be a very popular play this week and not having him in your lineup could make it a difficult day for you if he just plays to his potential, never mind his ceiling. JuJu Smith-Schuster, KC WR vs Arizona Cardinals The Chiefs offense will look a little different in 2022 with Tyreek Hill no longer in Kansas City but that doesn’t necessarily mean they will be any less explosive. Smith-Schuster figures to be the top wide receiver in this offense this season not named Travis Kelce and he finds himself in a matchup that has the highest game total on the board at 53.5 points. The Cardinals top CB Byron Murphy Jr is questionable to play in this one due to an illness and backup CB Trayvon Mullen Jr.has already been ruled out. We should expect a good volume of targets to go towards JuJu in this matchup. Cole Kmet, CHI TE vs San Francisco 49ers If Zach Ertz gets ruled out the obvious pivot play will be rookie Trey McBride but Kmet figures to be a top two target for this Bears offense this season with many expecting a real breakout season from the third-year tight end.
