[$--] [Sammy Watkins] [Sammy Watkins undergoes surgery] After playing just eight games this season due to a foot injury it appears as though Watkins had another procedure done on his foot recently. Multiple foot surgeries in such a short period of time are never a good sign but the Bills brass appears to believe that he'll be ready for training camp. With that being said, training camp is a long ways off so we'll just have to wait and see how Watkins recovers from the procedure. The former Clemson wideout caught just 28 passes for 430 yards and two scores this season and has played just 21 games over the past two years for Buffalo. At this point, it's tough to see how Nelson would play so quickly after fracturing two of his ribs but with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line, you never know if a guy will grit it out and play through the pain. If Nelson and Davante Adams are available to play for Green Bay, it would be a huge boost to the team's already prolific passing game. With so much riding on this next game, it's hard to imagine that Adams would be held out unless the injury severely hampers his ability to cut and run effective routes. I'd expect Adams to be a game-time decision but it would be surprising if he didn't at least suit up and try to play on Sunday. Let's dig in! 14 minutes ago CHRIS WASSEL [$8200] [Julio Jones] [Julio Jones limited in Friday's practice] Jones missed practice earlier in the week due to the toe injury and was limited in today's practice but it appears as though the team is content with him resting up a bit this week before the NFC Championship on Sunday. Jones spoke to the media earlier this week and said that the toe injury will not hamper him at all during the game against the Packers, which is a good sign. Sunday's game looks to have all the makings of a classic game, and it's great that the Falcons will have their number one weapon ready to rock and roll. While he wasn't bad (18 TDs 10 INTs) he wasn't able to lead the Broncos to the playoffs despite a top-5 defense. His upside is pretty low and he does not have the ability to be a play-maker. Lynch on the other hand is raw with talent upside. It will be an interesting battle. Even if he does suit up, it's fair to assume that he will be much less than 100%, putting his effectiveness into question. Even if he's little more than a decoy he could be of use to Rodgers and the Packers however, since both Geronimo Allison and Jordy Nelson are questionable as well, and the Packers need bodies. Randall Cobb, Ty Montgomery, and Jared Cook will be target hogs on Sunday. Jeff Janis and Richard Rodgers will have to step up to fill in as best as they can.
