The FanGraphs Newsletter, March 15, 2024 [READ IN BROWSER]( March 15, 2024 It’s been almost two years since we talked about how FanGraphs is doing, and with Opening Day fast approaching, we thought it would be a good time to give you an update on where the site stands now. FanGraphs currently has 13 full-time employees, along with a terrific group of part-time contributors. Here’s a quick recap of some of the improvements we’ve made to the site and the new features we’ve recently launched: - [Launched a mobile app]( - Expanded our editorial staff and added new voices to the site - [Launched new leaderboards]( - [Incorporated Negro Leagues data into the site]( - [Redesigned our projection boards]( - [Added postseason leaderboards]( and incorporated [full historical postseason data]( - [Revamped The Board]( - [Added the rankings grid to the leaderboards]( - Launched new RosterResource features, including the [closer depth chart]( and the [MiLB power rankings]( - [Launched new fantasy rankings]( - Integrated [Stuff+]( and [PitchingBot]( pitch modeling into the site - [Added spring training data to the leaderboards and player pages]( - [Launched the Cy Young Award Predictor]( - [Incorporated weather splits into the splits tool]( - [New Playoff Odds Systems]( - [Revamped the blogroll]( - Many incremental changes to existing site features and tools Over the next few weeks, the FanGraphs staff is going to be highlighting some of the most useful (and possibly lesser known) features of the site. Even avid users of FanGraphs sometimes don’t know all of the cool tools and data we have, and we hope that showcasing all of the ways we can help you better understand and analyze baseball will make the decision to [become a Member]( an easy one. We are very excited about the future of FanGraphs.
