NBC had the gold medal for Olympics coverage in its clutches, but fumbled late in the game by trotting out Jimmy Fallon to chat over the closing ceremonies. But overall? Outstanding job by Paris and NBC/Peacock, for one of the best Olympics on record, and certainly the best of the streaming era. The massive opening ceremony production, the live and on-demand coverage, Gold Zone, Snoop Dogg⦠it was a lot, and most importantly, it was available on your schedule. Even breaking, which most people know only for dogpiling on the Australian female participant, was a blast beyond the memes. But now that itâs over, what do we all watch? You might get through 30 minutes of these if you try hard enough.]( SERIES PREMIERES SUNDAY AT 10/9C ON HBO AND MAX [Chimp Crazy comes from the guy who did Tiger King]( [Eric Goode, one of the executive producers and directors of Tiger King, swings back into the world of exotic animal ownership and follows Tonia Haddix, the self-proclaimed "Dolly Parton of chimps," in this four-part docuseries. Haddix, who early in the series says sheâll do anything to protect her simian âkids,â does just that after PETA comes knocking and accuses her of mistreating the animals. At the center of it all is Tonka, a famous chimp and Hollywood actor who goes missing, leading to a cat-and-mouse game between Goode, PETA, and Haddix that unfolds over the course of the series.](
