New research also suggests that glyphosate could impair brain function in young people, as well as cause harm to the kidneys and fetal development. Continued use of glyphosate would cause serious harm to communities near crop fields sprayed with this pesticide, and contaminate food with toxic glyphosate residues. We need to protect our communities from the health risks of exposure to toxic pesticides, but the odds are increasingly stacked against us.
