We're done with lawmakers who prioritize access to guns over the safety of our communities. [–]( Hi– Extremist violence using or threatening violence with a gun has become an alarming element of American life. Between 2017 and 2021, an extremist who had used, threatened to use, or had ready access to a gun when they committed an alleged crime was charged every nine days. Extremists see guns as the most effective tools for their violent aims—and our lax gun laws enable them easy access to firearms. We can defeat armed extremism at the ballot box this November by signaling to the gun lobby that we're done with lawmakers who prioritize access to guns over the safety of our communities. And as a U.S. Senator, she co-sponsored legislation to help protect survivors of domestic violence and to help survivors of gun violence access life-saving resources.
