We'll be on Capitol Hill next week to advocate for gun safety—but we need your help. Hi– W

We'll be on Capitol Hill next week to advocate for gun safety—but we need your help. [–]( Hi– We'll be on Capitol Hill next week for Gun Sense University, our annual convening of volunteers and leaders from across the movement. Volunteers from across the country will meet with lawmakers to let them know that acting on gun violence is imperative. But we need your help to show Congress the full power of our movement—and that's where you come in. Now, take these three easy actions to make sure our lawmakers hear our demands loud and clear: 1. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) finalized a life-saving rule expanding our background checks—but now, gun extremists in Congress are attacking it. [Send a message urging your representatives to protect our background checks.]( 2. Assault weapons have no place in our communities—and multiple bills in Congress would regulate these deadly weapons. [Make sure your lawmakers know that banning assault weapons is a priority.]( 3. Every year, tens of thousands of guns are trafficked across state lines. Our lawmakers must put a stop to gun trafficking: [Tell your U.S. Representative to hold gun dealers accountable by co-sponsoring the Federal Firearm Licensee Act.]( By taking action today, you'll help ensure our volunteers on the Hill have support from our entire movement. Together, we can make sure our demands for safer communities can't be ignored. Thanks for taking action, Everytown for Gun Safety As a movement of Americans fighting for common-sense gun policies, we depend on contributions from supporters like you to fund important work to reduce gun violence.
