60% of Americans are afraid to voice their political views… [Image](https://) Greetings Everyday Spy, 60% of Americans won’t voice their political views for fear of getting ‘canceled’. You read that right… That means the Land Of The Free doesn’t feel so free to the vast majority of Americans. And what’s the source? According to political scientist, Yascha Mounk, the problem started festering in the Progressive Left. And it’s the driving force behind cancel culture, ‘progressive segregation’, and a whole slew of other bad ideas. What critics call ‘woke’ and advocates call social justice may have started with good intentions… But there’s no denying it’s starting to smell a bit off. Schools separating elementary classes based on race. COVID-19 vaccines being denied to elderly white people. Coca-Cola training its employees how to “be less white.” Hundreds of examples like these are starting to make their way into the mainstream consciousness. Now, Mounk – a social democrat – is joined by a growing number of leftists, liberals, and everyday Americans sounding the alarm on this slow sleepwalk into tyranny. To them, the cancel culture of today is the struggle session of Maoist China… And it all starts with a complete disconnect on the foundations of fact. “When two sides cannot even agree on facts, it undermines faith in all of the institutions we rely on to understand the world.” So say Mounk’s peers Greg Lukianoff and Rikki Schlott who wrote ‘The Canceling of the American Mind’ – and I couldn’t agree more. It is more critical than ever for everyday people to understand the facts and make informed decisions. At least, if we hope to avoid further slipping into un-democratic habits and attitudes. I created the Analyst Action Kit, so you can [always get the facts.]( This quick-start digital course gives you the exact training CIA analysts get to analyze media – from news and videos to podcasts and interviews.
