Hint: It’s not Hamas… [Image](https://) Greetings Everyday Spy, One of the most misreported things about the Hamas-Israel Conflict is the TIMING. News agencies, independent analysts, and conspiracy theorists are having a heyday with it. While it is interesting that the attack happened a day after the anniversary of the 1973 Yom Kippur War… there's more at play. Not to mention that Hamas had nothing to do with the Yom Kippur War, as they weren’t founded until 1987. But that’s another story… Let’s consider these THREE facts that aren’t getting a lot of attention right now… And see what happens when we put them together. 1. Israel has been negotiating with Saudi Arabia for normalization of ties. This is the biggest point because Israel has already normalized relations with the UAE and Bahrain. Both of which are powerful nations, but not on the same level as Saudi Arabia and Iran. If the normalization efforts with Saudi Arabia were to be realized, Iran’s influence in the region would wane. Think about it, Saudi Arabia is Iran’s biggest local competitor and Israel is Iran’s pet arch-nemesis. To Iran, Israeli-Saudi relations are a match made in hell. Hamas, which receives support from Iran, serves as a proxy to disrupt such developments. Hamas has slowly gained more power over the years, and poses the most direct and violent threat to Israel. There is no one better to hit Israel where it counts than the enemy that sleeps next door. 2. This conflict comes at a time when the US faces political turmoil. The recent budgetary constraints, especially with no provisions to support Ukraine, show the limitations the US has in supporting its allies at this time… Including Israel Iran and Hamas are banking on the fact that the US cannot step in to save the day. 3. The military might between Israel and Hamas is imbalanced. Israel has no choice but to retaliate. As they do, the Gaza Strip will face massive casualties. International outrage will follow, further weakening Israel’s power abroad. These three points show that this conflict is a strategically timed move to cause rifts and strain diplomatic relations, with Israel at the center of it all. Remember, the best moves do multiple things at once. This attack disrupted Israeli power in the Middle East, while setting up a situation that would make Israel lose face internationally when they retaliate… All while the US can’t step in to help. To understand the bigger picture, you have to monitor the dynamics between Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Israel. Hamas, in this context, is merely a tool, unable to execute such a strategy independently. The coming days and weeks will reveal more about the underlying motivations and the true orchestrators of this conflict.
